My husband and I had an horrific experience at Blake Ford!! We were warned by colleagues and friends not to do business here due to their unfair experiences at this location. We did not adhere to the advice and we regret it a great deal. We drove several miles only to be highly disappointed. We looked at the 2012 Ford Expedition EL that was of interest to us. A salesman showed us inside the vehicle. I started it only to hear a ticking noise. The gentleman admitted to hearing the noise, but did not know what it was. We went into the dealership to speak with the credit manager. We were told by the general manager that he had stepped out and would return shortly.We waited a few minutes. A short time later he returned. We were invited to his office to discuss our plans. We were planning to trade our 2003 Ford Expedition. Kerry Daughety, the credit manager viewed the truck. Upon entering the dealership he stated, This is a shaky one!!"(referring to the trade )The appraiser had to make the final call... I guess he thought we were stupid....NOT!! He was dealing with two educated adults...We were told that they were going to give us 500.00 for the truck. We had been to other dealerships in our area and had been approved and they were offering us 1500.00 for our truck. Kerry told us that he was applying at various banks in his area...not caring what the scenario was. It was obvious that Kerry did not have rapport with the bankers and could have cared less. Additionally, we were asked to move to another area while he waited on another customer. This was very unprofessional!! He returned with a sad story. "Well, I will have to wait until Tuesday since it is the weekend and the holiday too. I need to personally speak with the bankers myself." All the while, Kerry had submitted the paperwork for 31,000 instead of 26,000, which was not discussed or approved by my husband and me. This was Unacceptable!! Karissa called at the end of business on Tuesday and left a nonchalant message. It stated,"I heard how the meeting went over the weekend...Did you sell your truck?...what are your plans?" I was so offended that I did not return the call until Friday when I received a Dear John Letter with a totally different loan amount. This is unethical!! I will never buy ANYTHING from this place under any circumstances and will tell friends and co-workers not to as well. Everything happens for a reason. To date, I am driving a beautiful Black Ford Expedition EL with two toned leather seats with the works!! YES!! It is mine and I received royal treatment from a Richmond Dealership and I am very HAPPY. Thanks for showing me the CLOSED DOOR...It OPENED another one. GREAT!!

in the 3 times i have HAD to go here due to the fact that its the only local ford dealership they have taken WAY too long to do simple tasks. They have their "favorite customers" who just hang out there all day and can basically do whatever they want. My most recent experience that I AM STILL GOING THROUGH is the worst. My car broke down with transmission issues on saturday. They didnt even get it out of the parking spot it was towed to until wensday. dont forget the fact that since this is a mechanical issue and not covered by insurance since it just failing on the side of the road is my fault even tho i keep up with every service check and oil change so i AM NOT covered on a rent a wreck. so its thursday now. I called them earlier today and they told me that wile the part is in they arnt even going to start working on it till tomorrow. Unless this is the LAST place on earth to take your ford my recommendation is- DONT.

I tried to get my car fixed for something simple and all they did was dick me around I had to rent a trailer for a fix that only should have taken about 2 hours but no it took 4 day when they told me that it will get done the next day so I had to let the car sit there at the ford shop on the trailer for 4 days and it still didnt get fixed and it made me so mad I had to rent a trailer for nothing because all they wanted was my money and its wrong I will never go to that ford dealer ever again even if my mustang was dead and that was the only shop I could take it to I would just bay a new car. Ford I cant believe it you guys really let me down and I dont think I would bay from you guys again because all the other times I had the most shity service from you guys

Came in with 2014 Explorer for Virginia State Inspection.....man had trouble finding why I had no back up lights...took good amount of time for him to fix this...I had just been for service 4-19-16 .... wonder if they were out when I was there & not caught...service is very good...man servicing car sorta was not a happy camper (sorta grumpy when he told Barry Phillips about the lights)..Barry told him to go fix the problem....as a whole Blake Ford is tops...thanks for listening to me...

I have been a Blake customer for many years and have always been pleased. Everyone is very professional but also friendly. The staff members show concern for their customers and for each other. It is always a pleasure to know that when sitting in the waiting room, Ill be greeted by any member of the Blake family who happens to walk by. I often feel as if I am a part of that family.

Sales man wasnt answering my questions, not telling the truth about vehicles, seems like they were trying hide stuff from me about vehicles. Tent sale is a big joke, vehicle was for "sale for 23k" and wouldnt last long according to sales person....still sitting on the lot with 18K asking.

I am highly dissatisfied the service department. And after talking with Blake him self on the phone expressing my concerns and being hung up on. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. Through my experience the service department is incompetent.
