This review is long overdue. My wife and I have been discussing purchasing a new car for a few years. Since it was the first new car i was purchasing I wasnt in a hurry to be hassled by the whole "new car" buying experience. We called many dealers in our area to find out who carried what we were looking for. We started at a high pressure Honda dealership in Lakewood and what a mistake! After being traumatized by that experience I was reluctant to walk into another dealership. At the time it was very hard to find a Honda Odyssey with the options package we wanted. Since I was done dealing with dealers my wife started calling around and spoke to Wallace Moore at Causeway. Right from the start you first conversation you could tell that this dealership and our salesman was different. He took the information regarding what we were looking for and called us back within minutes that they had 3 vans that matched what we wanted. I believe we spoke on a Tuesday and had a trip coming up on Friday and wanted the van for it. Wednesday was the only day we would be able to get there however it was Wallaces day off. To make matters worse we could only get there after 5:30pm. He came in and met us there on his day off and even had the van ready to go for when we arrived. The whole experience couldnt have been any easier or enjoyable. Our experience with Wallace and Causeway showed us they arent just about making a sale, its about developing a relationship with their customers. We cant say enough great things about Wallace and the dealership: Developing a lifelong relationship with their customers, No pressure environment Friendly sales floor. The only sales person and dealership we would buy another car from and we would recommend them to anyone in the market for a new vehicle About a year later we still hear from and speak to Wallace often. Thanks Wallace - Alli and Jay

Two weeks ago or so we took our ford expedition and ford fusion to causeway (they were both bought there so we get free oil changes :-)) for oil changes. The furthest thought from our mind was buying a new car. While we were wondering around looking at the cars in the showroom one of the salesmen (Antonio) came over and ask us if we needed any help. My husband and I had been tossing around the idea of trading in our 2007 ford expedition on something a bit smaller that gets better gas mileage. We had not looked seriously at a single vehicle yet to trade the expedition in on yet. So along those lines I ask him if he had any used explorers. He took us outside and showed us a black ford explorer with 30,000 miles on it. It was in pretty good shape, had all the bells and whistles. Unfortunately, we loved it and it was just what we needed and wanted. Antonio was fantastic to work with. We settled on a price. Friday we had a busy scheduled so he even came to our house to sign the paperwork. There were a couple of things we wanted installed on the truck like running boards, trailer hitch and remote starter. Antonio worked with the service department to make sure everything was done it a timely manner. Tuesday when we came down to pick up our truck (it was our 12th wedding anniversary), it was washed and detailed, and it contained a "happy anniversary" balloon. This was the 4th vehicle I have purchased from causeway, all from different salesmen, but Antonio was by and far was my favorite. He was friendly, easy going and I really felt like he gave us the best deal possible. The one thing I hate the most about any kind of salesmen is the "hard sell". I never felt like that with Antonio. If anyone is considering buying a car I would highly recommend they go talk to Antonio and see what kind of a deal he can give you.

Since Ive moved from Vineland to Chatsworth Ive started going to the Causeway Ford in Manahawkin. It was time for a routine oil change and I easily made an apt. for exactly when it fit into my schedule on the phone. Like usual when I got there the staff immediately started checking my car and I went inside to wait for it. A short while later the rep. came out and told me that it needed a new battery (It was the original and the car is a 2008), needed some repair on the windshield wipers which I knew and that my axle was leaking and this they showed me and explained to me what would happen when all of the grease flung itself out of where ever. I was given the price for 1 axle or 2 and was told that usually they are replaced in pairs and I could wait, replace one or both. I chose to replace both for I only have 111,000 mi. on the car and Im keeping it until at least 200,000 mi. My Ford Focus has never given me a bit of trouble and has only needed maintenance. I love my Focus. Anyway I was told that they didnt have all of the needed parts and offered me a free loaner car. It was a Mercury Sable, all I had to do was to replace the gas that I used which is only right. This was on a Fri. On Sat. I was phoned and it was explained to me that they hadnt been able to finish my car but would have it done on Mon. and would this be a problem. Of course it wasnt because with the loaner I was still able to get to work on Mon. After work my car was ready and waiting for me. Everyone I dealt with was so nice and extremely helpful. I like that they dont treat me as some ignorant woman. I will continue to go for all maintenance on my present car and someday when my car needs to retire I will be buying my next car at Causeway. In the meantime I highly recommend Causeway Ford to my family and friends. An extremely happy customer.

This was my 1st vehicle purchase here at Causway Ford in 10 years. Salesman, Mr. Shane Houston, approached me and introduced himself. We shook hands and my experience only got better from there. I explained to him everything I was looking for in the truck I wanted. He listened intently to my expectations and even made suggestions I didnt think about, but definitely wanted. After just 15 minutes of listening to me rant on, he KNEW what I wanted. He showed me an F-150 that had everything I wanted and more ( I could of only dreamed about this truck before). We drove it around and while I tested it out, we were talking. By the time we got back to the dealership, I felt like I have known him for years n we were like old friends catching up. He really made feel at home with his personality and attention to everything including, concerns and questions. His knowledge was impressive in all aspects of this process. I have 3 children getting licenses together very soon and they will all need cars. I told Shane I will be back to see him to get these cars. His professional demeanor is 2nd to none and I am extremely pleased to have met him. He is my "Go to guy" for many years to come and I thank Ford for bringing him into there family. Its good to see Causway Ford hires top notch ,quality people who care so much for the customers. Thanks again Shane (and Ford :-) ) Customer for life Jim L.
