My wife went in and bought a 10 pack of 60W LED bulbs to upgrade our interior lights to a LED "Daylight" bulb rather than the old "yellowish" incandescent bulbs. She replaced 7 of them without any issues but none of the LED lights worked in the 3rd fixture. She called Home Depot and spoke to Joshua in electrical.. he told my wife that she was putting the bulbs in the wrong size socket...she told him they were standard bulbs sockets, not minis or anything like that and the bulbs screwed in without any issues...he actually told her to pull the light fixture down, cut the wires and remove it and bring it to Home Depot to have them check it out to make sure the sockets were the right size. ARE YOU KIDDING ME...She was told to cut the wires without turning off a breaker!!!!!!!! What is wrong with this guy!!!???? I told her NOT to do anything until i got home, I killed the breaker, went into the socket and bent the tabs up to make sure they were contacting the bulbs...they worked perfectly after that. The fixture was just old and the original lights had pushed the contact tabs down a little bit. My wife could have been electrocuted!!!! Teach your staff common sense please!! I called the Asst Mgr who did NOTHING. i called back and asked to speak to someone else, they put me through to another guy who wouldnt give me his name..i told him what happened and he said "What do you want me to do?"...Really, thats it....no apology, they didnt offer to put me through to someone who could actually handle the situation and deal with the employee...nothing?!?!? UPDATE: Really had no choice but to go back here to buy some Husky tools that were going to be a preset for a friend...i dont like Husky brand tools, but he does, so i came here. I asked for a particulr set, the guy said "let me check"...he walked away and never came back...i waited about 20 minutes before leaving...when i was walking out to the parking lot, i saw him sitting on the tailgate of his truck smoking a cigarette. I said "what happened to looking for my tools" ..he said "oh damn, my bad...just gimme 20 mins to finish my smoke and grab a drink from Arbys and ill check on it for you". Forget that...useless store, 99% useless employees.

Two out of two visits were a waste of time. Very hard to find an employee who could help, and both times when I finally did, were unable to find a fairly common part I needed. Today I was even told they had dozens in stock, but they were nowhere to be found. Just an inventory mistake. No words after that. He walked off to help someone else. No sorry, or suggestions on alternative solutions or where else to shop.

I just left there after purchasing a new lawn mower. NOT A SINGLE CHECKOUT lane was open. Not friggin ONE. There were 3 or 4 "cashiers" huddled in one of the lanes chatting, while one cashier was doing his damned best to hold down the self-checkout. I asked him whats up. "The head cashier meeting." was his reply. SMDH.

Normally we get awesome service when shopping at Home Depot. Tonight, we got no help. Never saw anyone til we went to check out. We were probably a $500-$600 sale that went to $26 due to lack of assistance.
