The lawn and garden ladies are so sweet, which is why I went back to get some trees. But, even with the sweet 2 ladies in the garden area, it isnt enough for me to return. The customer service employees need training in product placement so they arent making a person go from one end of the store to another only to discover that the item was in a completely different area all along. The friendless or lack there of, I should say, makes for the most unpleasant shopping experience. The man at the front door, checking to make sure that all items are accounted for when checking out, was the final straw for me. Calling a wheelbarrow, I was purchasing "cheap" because he wanted me to purchase a higher priced one, and then making fun of an employee for wheeling it out for me like he was somehow less manly since he was seen with the less expensive wheelbarrow. (By the way, the wheelbarrow was 34.00 on sale....not a ton of money but still enough for what I needed it for.) I didnt appreciate being made to feel like my amount of money was somehow not valued, after spending over 500.00 in the store for garden items. I will be taking my business to Lowes and home depot from now on. They are lots nicer and helpful and I have never been looked down upon for the amount I am able to spend.

Rude night manager. Bad customer service. I was helping a kid from my neighborhood build a bird cage. We went through a design and build process, picked out the materials required. We didnt have a saw, but it was a simple enough build that didnt required many cuts. Asked if we can have a few cuts made for us, total of 8 cuts. The store manager replied back 3 free cuts, $1/cut afterwards... $1/cut??? thats ridiculous. I asked if he can do it for any less, the manager responded back rudely, we dont want to spend all day cutting wood. I would understand if it was an extreme amount, but just 8 cuts, on a dead weeknight when the employees was just standing around doing nothing! Bad customer service! = no customer. Took my business to Lowes, they did the cuts for free and with a smile. Will keep my business at Lowes/HD from now on.

There were at least 15 or more friendly faces smiling and waving when I walked in. BUT when I could NOT find a basket for my plants there was hardly any help. One employee suggested following someone to their car and asking for their basket..........um no! Thankfully a friendly customer saw me looking bewildered and offered me hers as she left. Also, if it wasnt for a very helpful gentlmen named Kelly who ended up schooling me on plants and walking with me to hand pick a few I would never have gone back. These 3 points are for Kelly. He really deseeves 5 stars!

Store managers set the attitude of the entire store; this store has an amazing manager. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind! I had a fire in Oct and the $$$ were tight. In addition to almost daily help with a number of projects from floor to roof he and/or someone at store was always helpful!! I am disabled and regardless of the challenge these people are just good folks. Thanks for everything and I hope the deer sausage was shared! A great store with great people.

There is honestly no better customer service. It is amazing how the managers, as well as employees, try their best to make every visit full of a positive vibe. I love the feel of the store with all of the things they have to offer. Sutherlands is definitely the place to go.

had a problem with a piece of furniture. Called the store in Tulsa at 21 and 169 and they had a repair person out the next day. Fixed the issue fast and was very professionally. Im sure that the store manager Eric would be proud of his team. Thanks Sutherlands and eric

Not really convenient for me as I live further south now. Used to love Sutherlands growing up, now its just nostalgia. For me, being able to buy a 1/2 yard scoop of dirt for $20 bucks is the one reason I still go there.

Nice Place, never had a bad experience. Shop there quite often. I enjoy there center area of crafts and country furniture and nik naks. That sets them apart from other stores. I find the people to be friendly.

Terrible customer service. They told me two weeks on a special order 6 weeks later they had lost my receipt so they couldnt contact me. No one there could figure out what was going on.

Average Sutherland s. Has alittle bit of everything. Things you cant find at home depot or Lowes. Workers at this location were friendly and very helpful
