I stopped by to help out my mom and dad and pick up an order that was placed online. At first all went well - the item they had ordered was ready and the cashier was helpful and friendly. I signed the slip and received a receipt. My mom had forgotten to order a piece of siding she needed so I inquired about that and the cashier was again helpful and when he couldnt get someone to bring it up he went back and cut the piece himself (mind you there were three employees just standing around while the other three were scurrying around trying to help several customers at one time). It took him quite some time to get back but when he did I paid for the siding and began walking from the online order desk out of the store. At this point, one of the employees (who had looked right at me standing at the online order desk earlier) that had been just standing around questioned me stating, "What? Youre just going to walk out of the store without paying?" At which point I informed him that I had paid at the online order desk. Not believing me he asked to check the receipts (remember Im holding two giant items - a piece of siding and a corner for siding). So, I laid the siding down, dug through my purse and found the TWO separate receipts for Mr. Employee of the Month to check. He then proceeded to NOT EVEN LOOK AT THEM....and blamed capitalism for his ridiculous accusations. Look buddy, if I am going to steal something it definitely would NOT be something so freaking huge that is worth so little ($25). I give it one star...because the cashier at the online order desk was helpful.

The staff is very helpful and attentive, but we were disappointed in their pick up service. We had agreed on a time to pick up our new bathroom vanity and counter top (5 p.m.), but when we arrived around 4:55 p.m., it was not ready and they had not even pulled it down from the shelf. They ended up not loading it into our truck until around 5:35 p.m. and we had another engagement at 6 p.m. we were late for. Although I was really pleased with their service overall, I wish they would be a tad more attentive to pick up times when a customer spends $500-$600 in the store.

Lowes screwed up a toilet install TWICE and didnt back it up. I had sewage all over and Lowes refused to do anything to help (they fd it up bad!). HOWEVER - I stopped out at Home Depot at 144th and Maple. I think the name of the guy I talked to may have been Jonathan. He directed me with what parts to buy and how to install them and bam! Problem solved. Best part is only cost me $5-6. I suggest everyone avoids Lowes at all costs and dont say you werent warned. Home Depot treated me great.

This particular location is by far the worst one Ive been to. I spent about an hour trying to find what I was looking for and about 5 associates walked right passed me, 2 were just bullshitting between the two of them, and 1 I asked for help blew me off. Never at any other location have I been treated like the customer comes last. All of those made it appear as if their behavior is commonplace and that they made an effort to AVOID me as a customer. How unprofessional can you possibly be?

Thank you Home Depot for being such a great partner with the Home Instead Inc, senior yard clean up day. This is the 2nd year you have been gracious enough to support our efforts. We used the paint and stain at the homes of two seniors. One is a 105 year old senior and the other has reduced vision. But both of them were very thankful for the way their yards looked after we cleaned them up and used the paint and stain to really make their deck look great. You are amazing!

Spent a lot more time yesterday at Home Depot than I think anyone would want to... I have to give a shout out to Eugene, one of the staff members, who helped us find nearly everything on our list and even tried to trouble shoot a couple issues I was trying to figure out with our bathroom. Thanks Eugene for finally getting us out Home Depot! I think we were there for at least 2 hours...

Worst experience at a hardware store in my life. Couldnt find the paint they carry at another home depot so waited at the desk for 10 minute without anyone asking if I needed help. Needless to say Ill never go back to this home depot again
