If u get something that is out in the yard make sure they have it on stock when u pay. We waited 20 min outside in the rain for our item and then was told they were out. Option was to get a refund or come back at a latter date. Was no guarantee if the item would be in stock. Spoke to a manger a couple days later and was told all I could do is call before hand to see if the item was available or a refund. So still no guarantee that the item I paid for and did not get yet will be available . So making another trip and hopfully they will be in stock. Management needs to learn some customer care if they want to keep there customers was very disatified by how unprofessional was talked to.

They do have many products. Moreso that the "other" chains. The Paint dept in the Sioux City Store is a joke. DO NOT buy your paint from them. They will never be able to match it back excactly. The Customer service does suck there also. I have seen 5 employees standing there bullshitting and could not get a response from them. Sometimes they even send you the wrong direction to get you out of their hair. I truly believe the Manager of that store is either blind or doesnt care what goes on there. proucts for the most part are good, Customer service and attention to IMPORTANT details such as CORRECT color paint match, ZERO!!!

Promised a product in 2 weeks when the manufacture had previously informed them it would be 4 weeks. I was lied to, and it cost me a fair amount of money in delays. To add insult I was told it was my fault for misunderstanding what they meant when they told me 2 weeks. I was then given a phone number to voice my complaint at corp. which was nothing more than a recorded message. This is not service, and it is not quality. If it is not on the shelf be warned that an order is viewed as a perpetual contract where Menards gets paid upfront and you get your product when they see fit.

There is 1(ONE) bright, intelligent, helpful smiling person that works in the lighting department, otherwise there is no sign of help, and if questions are asked passing the buck must be taught in the menards school of etiquette, no one knows where anything is and definitely will not try to help themselves, so they send you elsewhere where the trend continues. The online inventory has NEVER in my experience matched what they have in stock and if you are ordering a pick-up expect it to be back-ordered.

at one time they had not alot of help, but now they are back to full staff, and i would like the Manager there to Compliment Marc Ferris, last week we was there buying floor tile, and he went above and beyond to be helpful, I thanked him several times and he said,, We are here for you,,, what a guy,, he loaded our cart with tile and was the best ever,, Menards is lucky to have such a stand up guy like Marc,, Please give him this recognition for his outstanding actions,,,,

Menards on Gordon Dr, in Sioux City, are more than willing to help you find what you are looking for and order what isnt in stock. People are in such a hurry all the time and expect a "drive up window" everywhere they go. It is better to take a little more time and get the correct item and get good quality than to just run in and get what will work instead of what is the correct item. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

Well my experience shopping at Menards inside the store was awful, but the warehouse morning crew actually helped me a lot and the time that didnt need help they would just say, "Ask if you need help, we will be here if we are needed" I think the kids name was, Chris.

Every time I call the building department the guys are not very willing to help and always are disrespectful. They will not go out of their way to help and just want to make a sale a move on. I would much rather shop at Lowes or Home Depot and get better service.

Years of fine products and helpful, knowledgeable employees both in Sioux City and Sioux Falls. Plenty of help at checkout too to make a fast getaway. Like any box store, sometimes takes a minute or two to get help at the desk in the target area.

Awful service. Asked 3 times for help loading blocks. After waiting 30 minutes I loaded all of the blocks by myself. If I were to buy patio blocks again I would definitely go somewhere else. Do NOT waste your time here!!

Very poor service due to understaffing. Long line at checkout and the clerk called for assistance several times but none of the managers responded. I saw a few customers just leave their stuff and walk out.
