Good customer service in the store, delivery on the other hand is non negotiable, I bought a washer from them with delivery and haul-away. The delivery company will not negotiate a delivery time, they will not let you talk to anyone about it and their customer service is lacking when you call them. They require you clear an entire day for delivery and do not give you the 4 hour window until the night before. While Home Depot is a good store, their delivery contractor leaves much to be desired in the area of customer service and unless you, or someone else in your house has an entire day to spend at home waiting for delivery I would recommend not using Home Depot for major appliance purchases.

My husband and I went there around 8 tonight to get some pvc pipes cut for a backdrop Im working on for my daughters birthday party and a very sweet and helpful gentleman named Duke was very friendly and patient with us, he even helped us assemble all the pieces he cut to make sure everything fit correctly. I was very impressed with how nice he was ! Thank you Duke, my backdrop will be the hit of the party all thanks to you, Sir.

(husband) Like a lot of shops in Hammond this store is a slit bit more geared towards the tradesmen in the area. Lots of electrical fuses and plugs you would not expect to see anywhere but an electrical shop. Lots of big problems can be solved shopping here. Sometimes it feels like for 20 aisles they have 3 guys, but when you finally find someone, its good.

I was disappointed with this visit. So many workers just standing around. I had a question and approached 2 workers. They paid me no mind, didnt even acknowledge me. Prices are good, but expect to find a worker willing to even know youre there

Poor customer service. Seems like workers walk away from you so they dont have to help you. Specially in the morning. I love Home Depot, but this location is my least favorite of all Chicagoland

Spent an hour trying to purchase a$20 garage can. Online said there were 5 in stock. Store staff couldnt find them. Had to order it for pick up. Customer service desk was not much better.
