Went online to order an impact driver to be picked up at the store. They had 11 in stock according to their website. I drive all the way there only to be told they dont have the item. The cost was 89.00 and it included the impact driver, battery, battery charger, a light and a carry case. I expressed my displeasure and the manager asked to let him put together a replacement item. He assured me it would be worth more than my original purchase. I said ok and was pleasantly surprised by the offer. This is where it went south. He brought back the impact driver (tool only) and told me it would be 89.00. I asked where the value was in that as it would not come with a battery, a charger, the light or the bag. He said that was the best he could do. I said thank you, no, please refund my money. I did check, they had all the items from the package in the store. He refused to put them all together to complete the sale. Needless to say this was my last purchase at any Home Depot anywhere. Too many other options where I wont be insulted. The funny thing is how they wonder why amazon is dominating sales. I get better customer support from an online company than I do from my local brick and mortar store. Truly sad... My new impact driver kit will be here tomorrow. Thanks for nothing home depot. You list this customer for good.

I suggest you try to call them first. You will be amazed at how long it takes for a human being to answer and help you. I waited twice, first 11 minutes and the second time more than 15 and after all this time they answered and transfered me "to the right" department and guess what, someone terminated the call on the other end. During all this time you are subjected to their merchandising pitch which Lets say they are better than Lowes but not by much. The garden supervisor Carmen? not so service oriented. It is infuriating not to find anyone when you need them.

Went to pick up my order that was placed several weeks earlier after I had been called that it was ready. Missing 2 cabinets. Ok it happens. Go back a few days later after Im called to come get the 2 (should have delivered them after their goof up) and only 1 is available. Wait around for 34 minutes for a cabinet to be pulled for me. Zero sense of urgency even after I ask where it is 3 times! I do quite a bit of business with Home Depot. Guess its time to check out Lowes.

Called in around 6pm and was transferred about 8 times back and forth to more waiting on the phone. I just needed to know if they had a bath tub in stock. They couldnt have anyone else check. Poor phone skills and Im sure that the store cut down on hours and running a skeleton crew at the busiest time of the holiday season.

Figuring out that its better to shop at Menards because.. my mother who has physical ailments gave me her credit card to go purchase $200 worth of paint to paint her home for her and Home Depot would not let me use my mothers card with the exact same last name in their store. Schererville Indiana home Depot never again!
