Weve gotten our Kerry Blue Terrier groomed here a couple of times, although the results were never outstanding. Ive had much better luck at Petsmart. We recently brought her in to Petco because she was dirty and tangled, like terriers tend to get. We spoke to the groomer, told her what we wanted, and gave permission for inoperable snarls to be cut off. When we went to pick her up, they had basically shaved all but her head. Shes a terrier, not a poodle with mange. Its November, and its freezing. When I went in to complain to the both the Petco manager and the grooming manager (who happened to be the woman who mangled my dog), I was told that because she was tangled, the groomer had no choice but to basically shave her down to the skin. Be warned, pet owners. If your dog or cat is tangled, avoid Petco like the plague, unless you want this to happen to your undeserving animal. The general manager refunded my money, but the grooming manager wasnt the least bit remorseful and basically stated that she would do what she did again, because the dog was tangled. Combs and conditioner, anyone? I will never be visiting Petco again. Stick to Petsmart, where they actually know what theyre doing.

Went here to buy live food for my bearded dragons; their stock of live food is VERY old and mostly dead. I searched for the "most alive" cup of superworms, and though the carton advertised 25, only 7 were still living. For non perishable stuff, this site is alright, but they seem to poorly rotate stuff that spoils.

Went here to pick up canned food for my newly adopted dog. The staff here was very informative with helping me get what I needed to switch my dog to my preferred brand of food. Also helped me out with a new puppy coupon book. Definitely the best service Ive received in a long time at any retail store.

I called ahead of time to ask if they had restocked their Eukanuba German Shepherd Dry Dog Food. The employee told me they had it. When I arrived, I was told that they no longer carried that type but the generic one was just as good. What a sleazy move.

Great experience. They are alway kind and willing to help pull out feeders. One of the employees even has a snake and occasionally well update one another on how they are doing. I would not go any other place to buy my mice.

Debbie, the trainer at this Petco location does an excellent job of teaching dog owners how to work with their dogs on all levels of training issues! I highly recommend her!
