I go to this store often because I own a Bearded Dragon and this Cristmas I got a Red Iguana, I thought it would be so cool to have a big lizard. They told me anything happens in the first two weeks to take the reptile back and they would exchange it for me. Well today unfortunately its tail fell off. I dont know 100% how it happened but I knew that was NOT supposed to happen so I called the store and explained everything I knew and told me that when I come to the store they would exchange it. Later that day I went to the store thinking I would just get a new iguana. I was most certainly wrong. They gave me this long Shpeel about how that only happens when the tail is ripped off, but of course there is now way I would do that and they said the iguana is going to the vet and then possibly put up for adoption. THEY THEN TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD NOT EXCHANGE THE LIZARD I was furious because I was still well in the warranty time Ive only had the little guy for a week. They were very rude about it and told me to go home and do research. I know quite a bit about reptile because Ive done LOTS of research on several differant species. But while explaining how the tail shouldnt have fallen off the way these two ladies told me made me feel like Im a bad pet owner. Ive had a bearded dragon for two years and cousins that have tons of reptiles and I learn tons from them about stuff. I honestly dont recommend going to this store the service is poor the FEW employees that I can actually find in more than 5 minutes waiting for someone to hopefully come around. The are very impatient with me and Im very respectful at the store and its way too overpriced and employees are rude Im just wonna get you through as fast as they can. I am never coming back to this store again because I cant stand the people there (except that one blond lady at the register).

Our favourite pet store! We have been customers for years. The store itself is clean, well lit and abundantly stocked with an array of supplies for virtually every species of pet. Products and pet housing are attractively displayed. Pets (including cats made available for adoption from a rescue specialising in seniors)appear to be healthy and well cared for. Over the years we have bought several pets from them, and have never had any issues or health problems whatsoever. The store Manager and staff are knowledgeable,welcoming, friendly, responsive and very helpful. They will spend as much time as is needed to fully answer questions, solve problems,offer recommendations or allay concerns. (Despite some trepidation born of various dog forum criticisms of the lack of competence of Petco trainers in general), we have enrolled our current puppy in a number of classes, and have been exceptionally pleased with knowledge and capability of Nicole and Morgan at this specific Petco. I give them my highest recommendation!

Beware - rude and unprofessional manager that des not want your business. Went to pick up some food for one of our multiple pets. Said to cashier that I have coupon on my phone for free treat due to birthday and for 10% off. When cashier scanned coupon and finished transaction I asked if 10% off was applied and he said no. He called manager to help apply discount. Manager came and said that I already have a discount. Cashier explained that that one was for birthday and I need another one for 10% off. Manager than turned to me and without any acknowledgment of me said” it is going to take a long time… I will do it one time for you but not anymore”…. And this is over 10% coupon send by corporate office for my 13.50 purchase that day. We usually spend around 100/month. Will be bringing our business to other company where they are more happy to see our business.

This is a place they do not want your business. I had a very good experience, about a month ago, and I think was a very nice groomer, who was able to help us. I came back in the last couple of weeks, and what I think may have been a manager, employees were so rude, and lazy. I honestly think they do not like customers. I will not even chance heading back in there. The staff tried to make me feel bad for asking questions about my cats food. I ended up with a very rude I believe manager, who may Have been knowledgeable, but condescending. I came in there for assistance not to be treated like I was bothering people, and being talked down to. At least I got some information and will go to Petsmart.

Manager and cashier were very rude. Manager yelled at my kids because they touched the glass on the fish tank after they cleaned it and the cashier at a later date told my kids not to touch stuff by the register and told my wife it would be easier if she arranged her items by sku. Our job as customers is not to make your job easier as employees. Must be too hard to wipe a window or put back an item on the shelf.

Advertised to be open until 9pm. Came in at 8:30 for fish and was told they shut that department down already. They simply turned off the lights in the tank. 30 minutes early I suppose so the lazy and rude employees can go home early. I left without my $50 dog food purchase as well and will never return here.

Ive been going here regularly for the last 8 weeks attending Puppy Level 1 training with Nicole, which has been really good and very helpful with the pup. Rest of the store is nice, normal Petco selection and a pretty expansive food section. Employees have always been friendly and helpful.

I came in and was greeted by two very friendly women. I was looking for flea flea relief for a kitten I just got for free, and they were very helpful and gave a solution that was safe. What a relief before bringing our kitty home. Thanks!! :)

Not happy they longer carry a dog food brand I would buy here, and prices for somethings are a tad stiff, but at least when there are other things we have needed the store has been well stocked and clean.
