Awesome Grooming! I have a shy, elderly little Corgi/Sheltie mix that I hate leaving at the groomer because she is sometimes not treated well since she is so shy. She is my co-pilot in a semi tractor-trailer so I rarely get to take her to the same place twice. I explained all this to Petsmart, Schaumburg, IL on Barrington Rd. and requested a patient soul to groom her that will take their time with my girl. Ashley had an appointment open that day and said shed be happy to groom my Zoe. Zoe is not the kind of dog thats happy no matter what. She always tells me if shes had a good or bad experience. When I went to pick her up, Zoe was excited to see me, but just as content to be with the sweet girls in the grooming salon and she has pranced around like a princess ever since her hair cut a week ago. She feels and looks so cute. They gave her such a darling haircut and left her little spirit in such a good place that Ive asked my company to get me back to that area every so often so I can take her back to Ashley in the future.

Store staff is somewhat disorganized. I wanted to buy a critter nation cage and asked if they had any that werent on the sales floor (they only had a ferretnation that had a tag for the critternation on it), the girl told me no without even looking, even though there were clearly pallets full of cages sitting above the normal shelves. I also bought a bird from them on the same day. They didnt give me the hatch certificate for the bird when I bought it and I forgot to ask for it. I called back on the same day and asked them to put the hatch certificate aside and was told they put my name on it. I live an hour away and so I drove back to get it the next day, on my drive to the store I called to make sure they knew I was coming to get it and I was immediately told that they didnt know where the certificate was, again nobody even bothered to look around for it before telling me no.Such an awful way to do business.

I have lived in my townhouse community a mile from here for 17 years this month, and used to buy my cat food and litter here, or at nearby Petcos. They usually have good prices on their cat food and litter, yet not enough of grain-free and better food brands, and mostly have good and friendly associates, although at times, they are nowhere to be found. I have rescued or adopted two of my seven cats from PetSmart stores, over the last 15 years or so. I always go visit the cats for adoption when Im there for food or litter. :-)

PetSmart has gotten on board with other places by bringing in more choices of per food. Especially ultra-premium brand dog and cat foods. I do think treats oys can be a bit over priced. I also dont like the fact that they do training sessions during business hours. You want to see something in the training area and you feel like youre in the way or you stop yourself from petting the cute little puppy thats trying to jump all over you because hes in a "training" session. Its a little uncomfortable.

This is the best place weve found to take our dog for baths and grooming. After multiple visits theres no where else Id feel comfortable leaving my puppy. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and they love on our dog as if she were their own! Rachel is our favorite groomer, she always goes above and beyond to make sure that we are highly satisfied. Id give more than 5 stars if possible. Thank you for giving us a great place to take our pet!

My mother ordered online a buy 2 get 1 free box of milk bones along with our usual order, and has been in a multiple week email exchange with this store trying to aquire the free box of treats that were supposed to come with the paid ones, theyre providing no receipt telling my mother it was applied to her order, have been criminally unhelpful let alone answer at the rate of a tortoise. DO NOT SHOP HERE

Nice staff and clean store. Lots of small animals to pick from and of course tons of food and pet supplies. Plenty of fish to pick from that are mostly healthy. They have some pretty good sales every so often. Some of the prices on certain items are somewhat crazy. Like light bulbs for lizards. Besides that the store is great.

The staff is so friendly! There are always multiple associates that are incredibly helpful, so you never have to track someone down for assistance. Probably the best customer service in a retail store that Ive had, and this is coming from someone who has a career in retail. Keep up the great work!

The staff is always really nice and full of helpful suggestions. Lauren T, the trainer there is amazing. She taught us so much about training our puppy in a positive manner. Lauren also helped train me, who probably needs more work than the dog.

Petsmart has the most friendliest staff! The grooming department always does a nice job on my dogs nails! I couldnt be more pleased with my dog after just a few training classes. Truely a big difference from day 1. Lauren knows her stuff!

Poor selection of frogs, could only get fire bellied toads. Prices are as expected for a retail chain but emailed coupons with membership are decent.
