Situated next to Aldi on one side and Michaels on the other to the North, Petco Animal Supplies serves an an outstanding facility to serve the community regarding their pets. Of interest is the architecture of Petco and ITs award winning design. When entering the complex off of Richmond Road (Rte 31) pay close attention to the new age petroglyph that brands the crown above the entrance way. Trust me its not just a cartoon of a cat and do. Its actually a brilliant manifestation of design where one can read into the juxtaposition and see a rather unique message manifest right before their eyes. The symbol offers guidance and direction for the people who care for their pets. Also when your exiting the lot you can tell the kids that those love birds you bought names Richie and Sandy are actually angles sent from above who once trained properly will tell the tale of the two layered cake of Blake Blvd as witnessed by their descent. So an adventure awaits all at Petco, be sure to bring your camera even though photographs are discouraged despite the fact that the animals are cared for by professionals who really do care and it shows in their workmanship.

I recently had the displeasure of having my dog enrolled in a training class. The entire time we were treated as a nuisance, instead of a customer. The dog trainer was clearly just going through the motions and had no interest in their job whatsoever. Against my better judgement, we decided to have our dog groomed in their grooming salon. The work seemed rushed, the haircut was choppy at best and my dog seemed very stressed out as if it was abused. Upon picking up my dog, I was treated with disrespect and any questions I had were quickly brushed aside. With all of the competing businesses in the area, do yourself a favor and visit one of them instead. This is clearly a store where the pets shouldnt go.

Its somewhat close to home but Id rather drive a few more miles away from home and avoid all the dead fish that show up in my, plenty room for more, fish tank. Not to mention the heater I bought that didnt heat (lost a few from that as well) they replaced the heater but that one wouldnt shut off...at 90 degrees. ...lost a few more. At this point Im trying to refurbish what Ive lost. At the cost at which Im continuing to spend its like beating a dead fish....oh wait...I mean horse.

I visited the store today, and received the absolute best customer service I have had in years! I spoke with Madison Moore, who was just about the friendliest person I have met in a long time. She was very knowledgeable about the product, and extremely interested in mine and my pets best interest. I was very impressed with the experience I had today.

I scheduled an appointment for my dog to get groomed today; first time I havent done it myself. The girl who answered and set up the appointment was SO nice and helpful that it made me 100% comfortable leaving my dog in their care for two hours. Employees like that are hard to come by. I wish I remembered her name...

The staff dont listen and really seem blah about their jobs. No enthusiasm. One employee even told us not have a lizard that they themselves sell and had 0% of an idea how to care for it.
