First time visiting this petstore. Upon entering, I immediately noticed the smell of the place, which I could look past if not for the other problems... While the owner was cleaning bird cages, I started looking around and asked if he was running any sales for Black Friday or Small business Saturday. Rudely, he replies with "Sure, right after I raise the price on everything... That stuff is for corporations... I already have the lowest prices in town". We almost walked out after that remark. The most disappointing thing was the state of the animals and their cages: Rabbits kept in small dirty aquariums, with no hay (90% of their diet); large birds like an African grey in cages meant for parakeets; I cant say much about the fish or reptiles as there was barely anything in either section as far as animals... Fish tanks looked clean though. Anyone with an internet connection can read about how to give animals the proper care and environment.. This place was not providing it. These poor animals are simply surviving, not thriving. I hope the owner will see the errors in his ways and take better care of the animals (and store). I would not suggest this pet store to anyone who cares for animals and I personally wont be returning anytime soon.

Went to this pet store to look for a treat for my bunny yesterday but left after being disgusted to see 4 bunnies in aquarium tanks! They were all breathing heavily as it was hot inside the store. They did not have hay, which is the most important food for rabbits) and toys to play with (they are sociable animals). This place should not be selling rabbits if they dont know how to properly take care of them. Rabbits can easily die of heat stroke. Plus, an aquarium tank is not a place for a rabbit. There is a reason its called an AQUARIUM tank, its for AQUATIC animals! Rabbits need a lot of space. A dog crate would have been more suitable to keep your rabbits while waiting for their new homes. I would have bought all 4 rabbits yesterday just to save them from their terrible living condition. Who knows how long theyve been sitting in those fish tanks? I took pics and showed them to my husband, who also used to sell bunnies, in their pet stores in NJ and Miami and couldnt believe it either. Its just inhumane!

great store, lots of variety of animals. I bought 3 rats from you guys a couple months ago. first off I didnt like how the boys and the girls were in the same cage they start mating at 5 weeks old and the girls could be pregnant, the cage is big enough to put a divider in the middle. second all the rats were not dumbo, some of them are Rex rats my boy I got from you guys is a Rex. The first rat I got from you guys I am completely inlove with, she is such a sweetheart but when I did get in the car on the way home I noticed she was sneezing, and Till this day, two months later she is still sneezing. you sold me a sick rat, none of them are hand tamed and clearly not healthy. I want to come back to your store to buy more rats but in that condition I cannot. Plus I wish that you guys would have more of a healthy food selection for the poor rats, seed mix is not a good nutrition food for them, thats nothing but fat. so please invest in some real rat food.

I would never recommend them to anyone. The store is not clean, doesnt smell good, nor do the animal cages look sanitary, especially the bird cages. Having two parrots of my own, I went to this A-1 Pets looking for supplies and food. The birds they keep in the store do not look very healthy and arent given proper care and attention. The bird toy and food selection is sparse as well. Ive been there twice now, because I wanted to give them a second chance, just in case it looked better the next time, but the store and pets were in the exact same condition and both times I never got any help from an employee. I will not visit them again because I do not like to support pet stores that keep their animals in these kinds of conditions.

My favorite pet store. I visit this store one to two times a week, and I try to go to them for most of my pets needs. I have cats, birds- including, a blind Blue Jay, a quaker parrot and 3 parakeets and 2 very old fish!!! Although they do not carry EVERYTHING I need or want, Jay, the owner will gladly order anything he can within reason of course . he will order it for you on a continuous basis, as long as you keep up your end of the bargain and buy what he special orders for you. Because we live in a small community, it is very important to me to support small business owners EVERY CHANCE I CAN!

We purchased a rabbit from this store along with all the supplies necessary to care for the animal. He is in great health and surprisingly social. You can tell Greyfoot (the rabbits name) has been played with regularly before we purchased him. He has never bitten or acted out when our small children were learning to handle him correctly. Hes sweet and we have had nothing but great experiences with this store. We will be returning soon for bulk food as this store has the best prices in the area.

This place has a very likeable atmosphere and the smell makes me feel like Im in a real pet store.yeah some people are used to the petco type deal where you have 74 degree temp inside the store but that affects animal health,and not always in a good way. The employees are awesome and I love theyre selections of fish.every oddball question I can throw is answered immediately and Iv never left disappointed.ps.love you guys keep it up.

He saved my beardies life. My beardies eyes were crusted shut and he wasnt eating or drinking. We bought a UVB bulb from them 2 days ago, we took his advice. My beardie is 100 times more active than he was previously. His eyes are starting to open more and more. He hasnt eaten anything yet but were on a good path to that soon.

I walked in and was stunned by the amount of supplies kept in this store. At first glance you would think it is a small store but it is in fact larger than a lot of chain pet stores. The employees were very polite and helped me find what I was looking for.

My new ball python wouldnt eat. They helped me work through the issues that maybe going on and how to feed. They are awesome!!!!! I would recommend them to anyone. They are also very knowledgeable about fish. Best pet store in Titusville!
