I should qualify this review by stating up front that this is my third major purchase from Euro Cycles. I may sound a little biased, but its because I’m a repeat customer like so many of the people Ive met through Euro Cycles over the past three years. I purchased a 2011 Monster 696 in November 2010 and I couldnt have been happier with the choice I made. Buying my first brand new motorcycle there has led to new friends (both staff and customers) and many miles of riding with them. I hadnt ridden in over 20 years and most of it had been with off road or dual purpose bikes in my younger years. I had done my research prior to deciding on a Ducati and David was very knowledgeable and patient answering my questions. The entire experience went smoothly and without a hitch; the financing, insurance and licensing was taken care of and delivery of the bike was scheduled...the only thing I did was sign a few papers and go home and anxiously wait for my new bike to arrive. This was one of the easiest purchases Ive made; I didnt have anyone hovering over me but someone was always nearby to answer my questions. The 696 was an excellent choice to get me back into riding; it has the legendary Ducati handling traits and still has plenty of power to have fun getting to your destination, not to mention the unique sound a Ducati twin makes. After a year I considered upgrading to the Monster 1100evo and following a brief conversation with Aaron, the owner, I decided it was time. I traded the 696 for the 1100evo and even though there was more paperwork to process for the trade-in and purchase, the process went flawlessly. I rode out on the new bike with a minimum of fuss. The additional power of the 1100evo was a bit intimidating at first since I had gotten used to cranking the throttle open on the 696 but after about a week of riding it, I had regained my confidence with the bike. After another year of riding the Monster, I made the mistake of test riding the BMW S1000RR demo bike when I stopped in to pick up some parts. Just like the two previous Monsters, I fell in love with it. Im back in Afghanistan for the time being and had planned on buying one when I came home for good in 2014 but when I went home on R&R a few weeks ago, I decided to stop in to Euro Cycles and test ride the BMW again...that was the final nail in the coffin. I got back to the shop, did the paperwork and came back to pick it up a couple of days later. Again, a very quick and painless transaction. Over the years, Ive dealt with the Sales, Parts and Service departments...and Ive always had a great experience with them. Everyone is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The advice Ive received from the staff has been based on what works and not what makes the most profit...Ive actually been talked out of more expensive upgrades that I was fully prepared to pay for because a less pricey part worked as well or better than the more expensive one. Some dealers will try to make as much off a sale as possible and hope you come back...my experience with Euro Cycles is that they value their repeat customers and make that a priority. I never really thought I would buy three motorcycles in three years when I walked in their doors back in 2010 but I did, and they definitely will have my business in the future as well. I highly recommend Euro Cycles without any reservations to anyone considering a new or used bike...Im sure youll be happy with them as well. Bill

My bike broke down outside Bartow, FL - an hour plus away from Tampa. I called Eurocycles immediately, knowing that what I needed was a master technician and not something that anyone without the Triumph diagnostic tools could figure out. Unfortunately (for me) they close at 5. It was 3:30 when I called them, and I was past Bartow. When I called I had the trailer loaded, but I was a LONG way away from them. I actually need BOTH of my Triumphs running, as we are heading out or our cross country trip soon and theres a good chance my brother will join and hell need a ride. When I picked up the trailer I went ahead and loaded up the other (running) 675 as well from the garage, as I needed it checked out and possibly a new battery. So, I call them up and say "Guys, I am on my way, but Im in Bartow - what time do you close today?" They close at 5. Mind you, its Memorial Day Weekend - and they want to enjoy the weekend as much as I do. I would be peeling out of that place as fast as I could if I worked there and I would NOT be happy about someone delaying my Saturday night plans. When they learned about my day and where I was they told me theyd stay as long as they could, and gave me instructions on what to do if no one was there. No matter what theyd take care of me. Sure enough, I rolled in an hour after they were closed to see Dave and Drew and Jeff basically standing there waiting for me. They helped me unload the bikes, and then let me store my trailer around back so that when I come to get them I can just load my trailer up right there and go! THANKS again guys, Im not happy to have had the bike break down, but you never stop impressing me with your willingness to go the extra mile to help a rider out.

Euro Cycles of Tampa Bay is the most pathetic motorcycle shop I have ever seen.. SAD.. The worst customer service I have ever had anywhere.. Rediculously insane.. Service department quoted me a price to put a front tire on.. When I went to pick my bike up they arbitrarily tacked on another $40.00.. I paid just because I didnt want to get into it with them.. I pulled out of the lot and the front end of my bike shook so bad that I had to turn right around and take the bike back.. They told me they were too busy to check it out, but to leave it and they would get to it early in the week.. When I made my 3rd trip to Euro Cycles they told me it was all fixed, (they said they balanced the tire again) and asked me to pay another $65.00.. I refused to pay the $65.00 and the wise cracking service manager came pretty close to getting stomped on.. Again I pulled out of the lot and this time my ABS LIGHT stayed on.. I turned right around again and he told me to leave or he was going to call the police because I verbally assaulted him.. Again using wise judgement I just rolled out after paying $100.00+ in labor for Euro Cycles to break my motorcycle.. I took my bike to another reputable dealer and was not surprised to find out that #1 The tire was not balanced properly and #2 THEY PUT THE FRONT RIM AND TIRE ON THE FORKS BACKWARDS explaining why the ABS light was staying on.. REALLY REALLY BAD.!.! The whole time they were trying to make me feel like a 2nd class citizen because I was riding a 2009 Kawasaki Concours and not one of their EURO CYCLES.. They can keep em..

Ive lived in Florida since 1979. In fact, I moved here from New England on my 1975 R75/6. Back in the day the Katz family owned BMW of Daytona. BMW of North America aside BMWof Daytona was the only place I would buy parts/accessories and had service done on my bikes. In fact, one time I was headed to a BMWMOA rally and blew a clutch just outside Ocala. Called BMW of Daytona and Jim Katz got in the truck picked us up, brought us back to the shop, installed a clutch, sent us on our way, with a "Drop us a check when you get back, have fun!" That is customer service! Those days are long gone. Not so my road flying addicts! I have done a bit of business with Euro Cycles. One BMW, numerous service, parts and accessories. The service and parts folks have always been great. Euro Cycles has somehow been able to retain the philosophy stated above. All that being said, I wanted to demo the new R1200RSW the other day. Unfortunately they had sold it. So I demoed an 07 K1200GT, and of course, wanted it. Joey, Jordan, and Jason couldnt have been more professional. The deal (I felt) was very fair. Unfortunately, having started a new business I was unable to sign the bottom line based on future business speculation. Itll happen, just a matter of time. Should you want a new bike, used bike, service, parts and accessories Euro Cycles is the place to get it. No, this is not solicited, and I have received no compensation for this write up. However, I have received professionalism, respect, and just good old fashioned customer service. Means a lot these days.
