Joe Carson Motor Sales, Inc. 2930 Helena Drive Northwest Carroll, OH 43112-9706 Date 5/22/11 Gentlemen, Let’s review a customers buying experience and review how at each step, Joe Carson bungled the event. In the process you will receive the most valuable customer service and sales consult in the history of your business, that if followed will increase your sales and profits exponentially. Lets first present common sense facts that were lost to your employees this weekend: Customers simply want to give you their money. In your business, a cash transaction is as easy as it gets. In order to get their money, every retailer must make it orgasmically pleasurable and easy for the customer to give you the money. If you fail, one of your competitors get the money. Customers pay for a service or product. Customers do not care what your problems are. Now lets review this weekends attempt to give you my money. My son wanted a Honda TRX250. This being the social age, I Googled the closest Honda dealership (yours), but was made nervous by several negative reviews. I have attached the least offensive for your review. With trepidation, I stopped in with my son and spoke to Brent. We found the ATV and I told Brent I would be back on Saturday (May 21st). We had already come to an agreement and it would be a cash transaction. I was fully expecting to have to spend less that 30 minutes at Joe Carson’s on Saturday morning when I stopped back with my wife. This is were the bungling by Joe Carson’s exceeds possibility. Brent walked right past us into the finance office and began talking to Tim about daughters. My wife and I were ignored for close to 20 minutes. When Brent finally graced us with his presence, I was asked for increasing amounts of personal information and treated as a criminal until proven innocent. For a cash transaction-for a cash transaction-for a cash transaction. Just under three hours later-three hours later-three hours later-we finish up with Tim, the finance guy. At which point being a modern man, I handed him a debit card. Joe Carson did not have a functioning debit machine. We were told there had been a software upgrade Friday and that an employee had screwed up the pin pad and corrupted the update. Their solution was to have me come back another day. Joe Carsons had already violated making it pleasurable and easy to give them my money. In my consulting work, my time is billed out at $200/hr. At this point, I figure they owe me $600. They bleat about their problems in taking my money. I could not care less about your problems. I am paying for a product. Then, Joe Carson;s solution is to make me jump through additional hoops, by taking a day off, driving sixty miles to pick up the trailer, twenty five miles back to Joe Carson, untold additional time a Carson’s finishing this train wreck, twenty five miles back to the cabin to drop off the ATV and sixty miles back home. Some solution. What should have been done was turn over the ATV, as the paperwork was completed and call me next week for my debit card number when your problem was corrected. Looking at customer reviews on the net-you fail a lot. You broke a boy’s heart-congratulations, feel proud. Joe Carson’s should have gone to heroic length’s to correct massive bungling. My challenge to you: what are you going to do to make this right? Totally disgusted with this place! Never again will I spend a dime here and, once what I have to say here gets around, I hope all the riders I know and the ones who read this decide to take their business elsewhere! A very close friend of ours came into this shop at the beginning of October 2016 to purchase a leather jacket for his wife for her birthday. He put a substantial deposit down with the notion of making payments til it was paid off. Unfortunately and unexpectedly he passed away on October 26th. She in turn had to figure out not only how to pay for his funeral but how to financially live since he was her sole source of income. Once she remembered about the jacket (the last thing he ever purchased for her) she went to the shop to see what she could do to pay it off. She was then told they were a business not a charity, they put the jacket back out on the floor and will not give her a penny of the money paid back. That is foul as hell to me. She is willing to pay the remaining cost of the jacket, she is not wanting a thing free, but they all but laughed in her face. Sometimes situations call for lapse in policies and the way she was treated was uncalled for! Never again will I shop here and I would pray no one else would either if this is how they treat people!!!!

1st of all the salesperson was great . I purchased 2 bikes and was going to pickup the next day . The salesman said he would take them back to service to have the bikes looked at so they were ready . We went to pick up the bikes and the salesman informed me we could only take one of the bikes because the other had a recall that needed to be fixed . I feel that recall should have been taken care of before the bike was even put on the floor for sale . So my wife rode her bike home and had to wait for mine .After the recall was done I picked my bike up . Drive it home and noticed it has a very bad vibration . The dealer doesnt allow test rides of the bikes so you have to rely on their integrity they are up front with you about the performance of the bike . Taking back to dealer will keep you posted about what transpires . But keep in mind these bikes were pulled from the floor and took back to service to be checked out before we picked them up .

When are they open? 4 out of 5 times I go to this place to buy parts they are not open. When I get in and buy parts, everything goes well and prices are reasonable, but when the heck are they open. I think they are always closed on Mondays. I think they open at 12pm some days and close early other days. Id like to shop there right now, but they ARE NOT open again!! I think I have wasted more on gas going there to a locked door than I have saved shopping at some of the other B.S. price gouging places in Lancaster.

I just bought my new 2016 FLHTK from Carsons about 2 weeks ago. Staff was all great from service, to parts, to sales, to financing. Although Im sure they dont necessarily want the comparison, Ive had a much better experience than what I had when I purchased my new FLHR from AD Farrow. I would definitely recommend Carsons and plan to return for my future needs as well. Thanks all for your hard work!

Purchased my riding gear and Ted and Todd were extremely helpful in helping me get the correct items. They took the time to make sure my helmet fit correctly as did my jacket. Would suggest anyone wanting the small town courtesy feeling to go to Joe Carson HD.
