WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! DO NOT GO HERE!! I had an appointment at the Petsmart location at 6PM earlier this afternoon. Upon realizing that traffic was going to prevent me from making my appointment on time, I called the store and spoke to Kelly, the groomer, and informed her I was going to be about 20 minutes late. Kelly assured me that it was not a problem and that they could still see me, as all I was getting was a "puppy trim" for my 3 month old Maltese puppies first haircut. Upon arriving to the location at exactly 6:25PM, I went to the grooming salon where I noticed 4 associates standing around with no dogs in sight. I was greeted by Leslie Dover who asked if I had an appointment. I informed her that I did, and that I called in and spoke to Kelly about being a few minutes late. Leslie told me that they would have to charge a $11.95 "express charge" because the store closed at 9 and that it would take normally take longer to complete a trim. I told Leslie that when I spoke to Kelly, she did not mention the express charge, and it wasnt until after driving 30 minutes to the location that I was told I had to pay extra just to receive the same service. The cut was simply a puppy trim and not a complete groom, so I find it very hard to believe my 4lb puppy would take over 2 and a half hours to "trim." Leslie told me that I would have to pay to charge even though it wasnt explained prior to me arriving. I then asked to speak to her manager, and she just replied that she was the manager. I then reiterated that I wanted to speak to "her" manager and it wasnt until then that she went to get the store manager. After waiting 5 minutes and neither Leslie or the manager returning I left the location. I am highly dissatisfied with this experience and am ashamed that your company has such rude associates that are trying to scam me for a service that made no sense to charge for.

Hello, I would like to reach out and express my disappointment with a recent visit at Petsmart store in Largo Fl at Largo Mall. My dog always cut his hair since he was a puppy there. I realized that they changed some officials and felt a lot of difference because before he was taken care of by Tiffany for years, who unfortunately moved from Florida. She indicated another staff to take care of my dog. This week I made an appointment with her on 06-19-17 at 10am and to my surprise Max came home with a deep, horrible bruise. Oh I wonder, how can a worker can do this with a dog ??? I know that sometimes it is not easy to deal with dogs, but they being professionals should be very careful with them. Im deep in thought of the pain my dog felt in being hurt !!! I took some pictures and I can show how he was injured. Im horrified at this. This was the last time I took my dog there,this is unacceptable!! I hope other dogs do not go through what I went through!!

Pet Smarts carry pretty much the same products all over the country. What distinguishes one store from another is the customer service. We are a dog rescue family and have saved over 15 dogs over the years. I have shopped my share of Petsmarts and Petcos. In this store I have had the most unpleasant experience Ive ever encountered, and this was a surprise, as I have hardly had a bad experience among animal lovers before. I bought a product, used it partially, found it wasnt quite right for us. I returned it and was charged the amount I used. This was fair and I was agreeable to this. I got an in store credit. No problem. But the employee handling the transaction acted as if I was being unreasonable and was rude from the moment I met her. Im not sure what kind of morning she was having, but you can bet that I will drive a little farther to another Petsmart next time. Its the small things that can make a positive difference, or not.

The store itself is clean and somewhat friendly staff. I have visited on multiple occasions and havent been impressed with the organization of its merchandise. They are constantly out of certain animal foods every time I go. I highly recommend pet owners to beware the grooming side of this location. Every time I took my dog, he was so scared and didnt want to go, which is understandable after multiple times of hurting him. He is a 15 yr old dog with hip problems. First time they dropped him off table, second time they were extremely rough moving him back and forth. NEVER taking my dog back there. They were by far the least trustable people I have ever left my dog with! Its a typical chain business where they only care about profit, not your animals!

My dog had an appointment . When I dropped her off for a bath and to have her nails cut I was told it would take about 2 hrs. It took 41/2 hrs and when i picked her up she smelled worse than when I took her. She had that smelly dog smell from be in a cage for a long time. They were supposed to call me when she was finished and nobody ever did. They will never see me or my dog there again. I recommend that other people find a more responsible groomer to take there pet to as well. I am totally disappointed with Pet Smart grooming and will tell other how bad they are !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took my golden retriever there to be groomed, and instead of trimming him, they completely shaved him.They left an odd collection of hair around his face, completely uneven and his coat looked like there were chunks missing. Honestly, it looked like a child took the clippers and went to town. All they could say was, yeah we went a little shorter than I know you wanted, but I think it had something to do with the clippers or the brush.. I will never go back there again. Helpful hint, they do provide refunds if you are unhappy, so dont let them get away with this!!

My maltese Marty performs with me while I sing. He has had group and individual training from Jasmine. She is phenomenal. She can always think of a way to teach the unusual things that I need for him to do to fit into the song. His to-the-floor coat is a challenge for any groomer. Since we lost Belinda, I have not decided who is best for grooming him. I love the array of merchandise. There are a few things (i.e. stroller) that I havent been able to get at other PetSmarts, but they have in stock.

The best part of going into this store are Bonnie and Kevin. Always friendly and happy to help. However, whoever is in charge of ordering stock needs to get on the ball! More times than not they are out of the cat food my cats will eat. Then I have to either drive up to Countryside or over to Tyrone area. Very frustrating. I dont understand how a store can be out of a product 2 - 3 weeks before it is restocked. Obviously people are buying it, so order it!

With a few animals in the house, it seems like were here once a week. Great staff and I find the prices to be fair on most things, medication food not so much. I have stopped taking my dog to the groomer here as I feel they are way too rough on animals and i don;t particularly like their attitude. The one off of East Bay in the old Tri City plaza has a much better grooming staff and they treat my buddy so much better.
