DO NOT GO HERE FOR THE SELF-SERVICE DOG WASHING! For $10.70, I was given 4 tokens like Im at Chuck-E-Cheese, and directed to the back of the store. One look from the window, and you can see that the floors are filthy with tons of hair and rust on every metal piece. And then the garden hose. To get your dog wet, theres a garden hose to use. There was no way of controlling the pressure so if you miss your dog a little, expect water in your face. Now comes the soap, which doesnt suds up (because the manager says its not supposed to, never heard of that before) and it also smells like rotten eggs. Im about 99% sure that the watery liquid coming out of this tube was the same stuff that sprinklers spray onto grass. At this point, it was enough. Used the garden hose again to rinse, again, water in face. The dryer was the same thing I use to vacuum the floors of my car with. No heat control, so it was all cold air on a cold wet dog. That $10.70 for 20 minutes is insane, 20 minutes would go straight toward drying because its all cold air. Its supposed to be warm. Overall, experience was horrible. Manager thought it was funny that we thought it was disgusting in that room, obviously did not care. If you want yourself and your dog to smell like rotten eggs, come on down to Pet Supplies Plus!

My husband and I always took our dogs to the grooming department. We never had a problem until August. We go to pick up our dogs. My boy was cut not once but 2 times. They didnt even call us. The cuts were so bad we had to take him to the vet for stitches. We were told that Julia the groomer was let go and said we could bring them back for a free cut. My boy is so traumatized he attacks when clippers go near him. So, we figured instead of getting a cut we would bring our girl dog in for a bath. The manger and staff was so rude to us and told us we were lieing and that never happened. They were very disrespectful. I guess they also forgot that there vet also seen our dog so there is a record of it. Why are they trying to cover it up. We called upper management and no one will call us back. I dont recommend this place to anyone if you want your dog to come home in 1 piece. We also found out that the groomer that was suppose to be let go is still a groomer there. Not only neglect but very rude staff including the store manager!!!! Update, we were told from the area manager that we would be contacted after my husband calle them. They never did, guess the hole company doesnt care about pets or how there staff treats there customers. Stay away!

*DISGUISTING!* I used the self service dog baths for the first time here and my first impression was that it was filthy. The employee who took me back had to clear the room of dirty rubber matts leaving hair balls everywhere. Once I walked in he told me I could wear the boots "but did not know how CLEAN they were". Next I approached the bathing station and there is a rickety metal grate with rusty edges, I removed it to find the bottom of the tub is also covered in rust! My next problem is I have to use coins to wash my dog through a pre selected menu as if I were at the car wash. (I should have left at this point) what pushed me over the edge was after rinsing my dog with the "fire hose" splashing water all over me the shampoo smelled of ROTTEN EGGS! I gagged at the smell of it. As if that werent enough I didnt even cleanse. No suds no lather just a horrendous smell. (Smelled like perm solution). This is when I left to get a refund. Not to mention your on a 20 minute timer. I speak to an employee about the experience who agrees to refund me but informs me the shampoo is bad for my dog is it suds. That was their justification for everything!

I have edited my review from 5 stars to 2 stars. The quality of this store has gone downhill. As soon as you enter, you are not greeted and there usually isnt anybody at the cash register. You usually have to hunt someone down for a question. The prices are ridiculous and so are most of the sales. Example: 20lb bags of litter on "sale" but two of them equal the regular 40lb price (give or take a few cents)... Upon entering one of the isles I noticed moths/worms in a bag of bird feed. The store is disgustingly humid and not cold enough. The isles are sloppy and items are incorrectly placed behind the wrong price tag for that brand. Items are out of stock and they dont seem to care to re-stock them. The employees mess around and dont care when a customer is running around looking for something. I collect coupons for cat supplies to go here but with the silly sale prices and awful service..Im going next door to publix. Ive noticed the prices are slightly cheaper at publix, and I can grab something that I need. This would cut down on trips/time and frustration.

Our experience was poor. We have gone to this store for quite awhile, getting a price match from another store. Up until today we have had no problems. We go to he store and we walk in and do not see any staff? we find a young girl and tell her that we have a price match and have the pet supply plus receipt with the special pricing. She call over a young man whom I have never seen at this store before. We are told that they will not honor there own receipt and that they want to call the store that we got the original lower price, which was already closed. I must be honest, the young man made my husband and I feel that we had done something wrong and would not sell us any dog food at the lower price. We purchase many bags of dog food per month.

I used to visit this store quite often over the last few years. If youre visiting for crickets you will more than likely be waiting for an attendent for some time. On another visit a less honest dog owner than I left excrement behind in an aisle to which I slipped and fell on. It took me 10 minutes to find an associate that I could alert to the situation. Even after I found an employee they offered no help to me, they just wanted to know where they needed to clean. Also, it is not the fault of the store but I have been harassed by other customers in the store. The staff is supbar and the other customers who shop here have very strong opinions.

A Private User

I avoid most small chain stores because they do tend to be more expensive than Walmart or Petsmart. But they have enough specials and coupon opportunities that it actually saves me money over the other stores. I just noticed that they even offer a 10% military discount. I like the self service pet bath center too. My store in Florida is always clean and brightly lit with cheerful employees. The small pets in the store are healthy and even happy looking. I have not had experience with any services they offer such as grooming or bathing. I always count a visit to the store as a good experience.
