I honestly enjoy this store. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful. However, today I experienced an employee telling another customer that their dog was healthy, but clearly too skinny and that they need to be feeding it more and change her food. That is inaccurate and not appropriate advice. The dog is a type of breed that naturally runs on the skinny side, she was an older puppy but still a puppy, and the owners clearly stated that they were feeding her the recommended amount. He also stated NONE of the food products sold in the store had fillers or byproducts, this is also inaccurate. He then offered inaccurate, unwanted advice on whether or not my 10 month old kitten can play with catnip toys. Kittens can play with cat nip toys. This is information received from the veterinarian I work for. Please do your appropriate research before offering advice. I was highly offended, and the other customers were noticeably uncomfortable and were trying to walk away from him. I will most likely be avoiding this store from now on.

I have gone to this store for quite sometime. In the last year I have not see a mature manager there, just a bunch of kids with the only interest in getting you out the door. I changed my older cats to Science Diet senior. Its hit or miss if the lave a large bag. Apparently the store sells a lot of this food, and really dont care if it is out of stock. They should carry the 15 lb bags like Per Smart. So my business is going to Pet Smart, because the employees could really care less about customer service.

Everytime I shopt this store I visit the rabbits, and each time the rabbit pen is foul and odiferous. As a former owner of numerous rabbits, Im aware of the adverse health affect the ammonia from urine has on their respiratory system. I inform the staff of this, only to be given a lame, so what excuse.....I feel badly for the rabbits and another other small critters here; theyre not properly cared for.

For 59 years this place has been here and I can tell. The roof is falling apart but they cant help it as its the landlords problem. Prices are decent but they have a wide variety of fish, reptiles, and birds. I got a ropefish and some kuhli loaches which I could never find until coming here. A decent store, will come back soon.

I came in the other day looking for some regular food for my dog. Chantel was able to inform me of the variety of products that the store carries and assisted me in finding what I needed. She was polite, kind, insightful, and knew her stuff!! I will definitely be coming back to shop here!

This is the worst piece of crap pet store they sold me a cockateal and cliped its wings to short later it got an effection seriously the only reason i go there is becuze i need pet foot the staff are cute other than summer and food its the wordt pet store in fl no joke

Absolutely horrible customer service. With the two new pet stores open in in the area, youd think theyd step up their game. The two working the front today should absolutely be dumped from the menu. I will be spending my $40/mo in dog food elsewhere.

I adopted a kitten. There were no hidden fees, the amount they tell you is the total amount. Instead of Making me buy 8lbs of the food they were feeding her, they gave me a enough to start switching her over without getting sick.

Staff is always friendly and helpful when I have a question and at checkout. Store seems clean and they have a good variety. One of the few that carry the Natural Balance brand near me. Convenient.
