Horrible Customer Service! The owner is rude and the materials are way overpriced! I stopped in because i am giving our yard a facelift and need mulch and gravel. Called and quoted Kodiak because the owner is a nice guy, not stuck up. Their red mulch is $33/yd, compared to Contstruction materials $30 a tractor scoop(about half a cubic yard). The only reason I did not go to Kodiak trees is because they are out of red mulch until Monday. However, I will never spend a dime at Construction Materials! I simply asked the owner if it was possible he could match the price of Kodiak Trees, I did not demand, just asked. The owners response "Just go to Kodiak then!" So I said alright and walked right out the door. I would have paid full price, because I understand its "their price" and they have it in stock.. But after his rude response no way!! So I drove right down the street to Woerner Landscape on Beal pkwy. Only $36/yd and Great customer service! I highly suggest driving 2 miles down the road to get better priced materials and much better customer service!

Bought a yard of "sand" over the phone. Was charged $40 for delivery for less than a mile. The "yard" of sand that was in my drive when I got home, I could have easily fit in my small truck. The "sand" turned out to be full of very small rocks. It is now two years later and I have to replace my pool liner because the small rocks have put holes in it. A hard lesson learned.
