I would spend days telling you how impressed I was going the Village Goldsmith as a business owner myself I have to tell you I would drives miles an hours to go there just to spend $5.00 because Jim Johnson cares in an old fashioned way and that to me was integrity and morals and fair business procedure, That you dont find as you would years ago. I would vouch for this business any day but more importantly for their service. The main reason is I purchased something from JC Penny and they where un able to do anything but asked me to reach out the Goldsmith and when I did he went above and beyond trying to right my ship, I purchased for my wife a watch and bracelet set and the watch was broken and JCP had no more available he sent a note along with it to Citizen as it was his and from his heart about trying to fix the issue and it was important to me, Where I opted out of the watch being fixed and received a credit back from JCP I was happy abut the efforts of Goldsmith. Its late and I am all over the place but I consider them a 5 star repair and jewelry shop but a 5 star business !!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!! Jim Johnson this business owner is an amazing person. He treats everyone who visits his store with the most respect. I would drive hours to come here just to visit. My first visit was to have my Micheal Kors watch resized which not many other jewelers would touch with a 10ft pole because of the care it would take since the band is made of plastic. Jim Johnson very nicely explained to me the situation and didnt hesitate at all for the task. He handled my watch with great care and i got it back in perfect condition. I was very impressed by the price which was only 5$ you cant beat that, the best part was that Jim gave the option of making a donation for his toys for tot box instead of paying him, when i didnt have cash. There is not very many amazing people like him left and I am so happy that I chose here. This might sound corny but it felt like I stepped back in time to when the world was a better place. This wil be the only goldsmith I plan on using in the future!

If I could rate a zero I would! I took two rings in for repair and to replace missing diamonds. My wedding ring came back with my center diamond so loose I could move it with my finger. It was supposed to have prongs replaced and I had to have everything redone at another jewelry store. My other ring came back missing two diamonds. I returned it and they replaced them with a much lower quality diamonds so they didnt match the rest of the diamonds in the ring. Im not interested in going to a store that would return jewelry in that condition. I didnt feel comfortable wearing my jewelry after leaving The Village Goldsmith! I went to Pittman Jewelry and they redid everything and the service was extremely good! They even redid the prongs for free. I found my new place to go for jewelry.

My fiance and I went to 5 stores trying to find our wedding bands. Every place we went to could not help me find a band to fit around my custom ring. They basically said there is nothing we can do. So we decided to head to the place that made my amazing ring, Village Goldsmith. Not only did they fit me for a custom ring guard that made a great band, they had a band for my fiance that we loved. The other issue that NO one could help us with was finding child size ring for my stepson. Village Goldsmith easily made a custom ring for him. Yes the old guy is blunt and a little rough around the edges, but so are diamonds. He knows his stuff and wants to help. The woman who helped me was AMAZING and knew exactly how to make me happy. We will only go to Village Goldsmith for our jewelry!

The older man that waited on us was brisk and blunt. He treated us like we were idiots. My husband asked if he could remove 2 links from his "knock off Rolex". We were charged $20 for this service. Not exactly fair in my opinion. We asked if my knock off could be repaired. (The band was broken.) I was told no. We stopped at Pittman Jewelry on the way home. The man that waited on us there said he could remove a link and fix my watch. He did this in about 3 minutes and didnt charge me anything! I would not recommend the village goldsmith. The shop is messy and the guy running the place is not friendly. Plus the prices for repairs are high.

The best customer service in town. The only place I will be going for any of my jewelry needs. Ive been in a couple of times and every time is an amazing experience. They truly do pride themselves on taking care of the customer. I bought my wedding ring there. Had my wifes tightened for 5 bucks. Tightened my wifes ring and polished mine for me this last time free of charge.

After a terrible experience with a jeweler down the road I found this place. The owner Jim was kind & generous & spent 20 minutes tightening the prongs on my wifes antique engagement ring that had belonged to my Great Grandmother. After all that trouble he refused to accept payment saying it was just a minor repair. Great Customer Service! I will be back.

Outstanding customer service! Went in for watch battery and only charged $5.00 compared to Pittmans, $28.00! Carnations are given to all female customers, now thats customer service! I will certainly go back. Try it, youll never go anywhere else. Pricing very reasonable. I live in Leesburg, but would drive miles for service like this.

Absolutely recommend this jeweler! The owner does an amazing job! Fast service and took very good care of my jewelry. I took a family ring in to be resized and repaired as necessary, and he resized and tightened a couple stones and it was more than a reasonable price for the work! Fabulous job and a wonderful family owned business!
