I would never recommend Scranton to anyone, and I have made sure my whole family who has bought from there for years knows NOT to buy any longer. They sold me a car with a cracked head which they would of and should have caught on inspection. I did not notice until after my warranty and my first oil change what was going on. After going back and forth with them for weeks they agreed to fix it for free, although their service manager was absolutely rude and treated me like I was stupid. I finally got my vehicle back and had no air conditioner, which worked prior to dropping it off, they refused to fix it, so now a year later I still dont have it because I cant afford to have it fixed, also in the meanwhile there was a air intake part that had to be fixed which again per my mechanic whole Ive used for 15 years, this should have been caught on inspection and driving, it hesitated and stalled all the time and also the car shook. Needless to say after putting all the extra savings money I have into this POS car (I live alone and support myself and dont make a lot) I wrote a letter to the owners of Scranton, I also had a close family friend mention what was going on to them as he was close to them. I sent in copies of all my receipts and mechanic statements, and this was 2 months ago. To date I have not received a letter or phone call or anything about the overprice POS that they sold me, guess this shows their true lack of customer service. Now I am stuck with a car that is overpriced, upside down in, and still needs almost $2500 worth of work to. I worked at a car dealership for 7 years and never once would the owners have allowed their customers to be treated so poorly or for that matter have sold a lemon car.

My wife and I had been looking for a car for some time, just hadnt had any luck in finding the 2 components essential for our purchase, 1 the right vehicle, 2 the right company to buy it from. We looked at 2 different places before arriving here. Historically I service my cars at Scranton as their service department is really good. I had simply assumed that because it is a high end Cadillac dealer, they wouldnt be interested in little old me...was I ever wrong. From my initial email contact (Sorry to have forgotten your name) they were a real treat! We saw a Ford Edge that looked too good to be true. We enter the building and there was this warm welcome from the receptionist, people were just friendly, helpful, we were immediately paired up with a sales manager, David Stratton who answered all of our questions, and kept things very friendly, welcoming, and personal. This is an emotional purchase and it was treated as such from their end. In Davids absence as he was helping a customer, Shaun was there hitting another home run...people were being friendly with my daughter (obvious showstopper) as she was getting restless and running around, Almost everyone who walked by asked my wife if she needed a beverage or a chair...the easy stuff that often gets overlooked. We have our new family car and love it! If this were a hotel, I would come back and often as well as recommend it to all my friends and family for their 5 star service. Thanks for letting us be your customer, it was our pleasure.

I had the pleasure of working with the Scranton staff in purchasing a new car. It was 5 star service from start to finish. In todays online world everything is about speed of service and efficiency to get as much done in as little time as possible in our busy lives. The Scranton experience was a wonderful mix of both timeliness and service. I used their online credit submission to start the process, and heard from Nick Florentino, my Sales Advisor, in no time. He was understanding of my needs, stated that he didnt have exactly what I was looking for but they could get it. He and Shawn Woodward, the Sales Manager found a car from another GMC dealer and had it within two days at their facility. When I arrived for the first time to the dealership the car was pulled up out front waiting for a test drive. The paperwork was a breeze because of my pre-qualifying online. Nick had to make a quick call to change my insurance, another great service. I met with Hannah in finance, signed paperwork and my purchase was complete. While there I was also greeted by Laura Steele and the GM Matt Scranton. The icing on the cake was when I arrived home with my new car, my 5 year old remembered she had left a couple specific stuffed animals in our old car. I called Nick back to alert them of the dilemma and he was already on it. I picked up the stuffed animals a day later and they were staged, waiting on Nicks desk. I had a wonderful experience, the whole staff went above and beyond.

I honestly highly recommend these guys to anyone and everyone! From the minute I walked in the door, I felt the great customer service. I found a 2006 Acura TSX online and had a 40 minute drive to look at it. Before hand, I went on Scrantons website and chatted online with Laura, who set me up with an appointment. Later that day, I walked in the door to find a lovely secretary (Jerilyn?) and my name up on a board (big welcome sign!) She went to get Laura who then directed me to Tyler Durdan. He was absolutely wonderful through the whole process and sold me the car. Jason helped get me financed through one of their many banks, and Shaun sat down with my father and I to sign papers and go over service warranties. They even let my dad look at the car up on a lift, where he found a little leak in some oil thing and Jerry changed it very quickly before everything was said and done. Everyone was so nice and I am so pleased with the entire experience. Anyways, definitely go see Tyler when you are ready to buy a car and everyone else will be there to help :) PS - I absolutely LOVE my new car.. it is flawless!!

My experience with scranton was a absolute nightmare. I went there to buy a use truck from them. I went thru the truck and test drove it everything was fine. I noticed that the truck had 2 different sets of tires on it fronts had all terrian and rear were just a basic truck tire. I had also notice a leak from the front axle seal which i was told that its fine and wouldnt change it. After argueing with them for 30mins in the parking lot they said ok they would take a look at it. So the next day i went there with there mechanics and they told me yes its leaking and normaly they wouldnt replace it. And i told them if they didnt i wouldnt buy the truck. So they fixed it. 2 days later i bring the truck back to have the rear tires change for the same as the front. Everything was good til i got home and notice grease all over the truck. Also i believe the people that work there have no knowledge about paperwork due to them screwing up my paperwork 3 times. Sales guy was great good guy kept me in the loop with everything that was going on. I will not purchase anymore vehicles from here again. Very disappointed
