I movedd here about a year and a half ago with my girlfriend, and her family first recommended Belltown to me. Im very cautious and skeptical about going to new auto service centers (as Ive had a few mishaos in the last with a few) and would always go to a family member who owned his own garage for auto work. Ive been to Belltown several times for minor service, such as oil changes, tune ups, and, soon enough, brakes and rotors, and Ive always been more than satisfied. Recently I got into my first accidejt after 4 1/4 years driving and had a decent amount of body damage to the drivers side front end of my car. I found the family member I go to doesnt do body work, so I decided to go to Belltown. I worked with Jay through the whole process and I could not ve any happier. He is one of the nicest guys I know and he"s very understanding and passionate. I wasnt able to get to the shop to pick up my car until 10 minutes of 5 and got there and all my cards declined. I went home to get my insuramce check and sadly it didnt clear completely, my own fault. I drove back (in my own car, btw. Jay was incredibly noce enough to let me drive it to get the check and such) and talked it over with Jay and he was incresibly understanding and humble. He sidnt bark or complain that I had him stay 30 minutes after closing or amything. He gave me a ride home as well since I didnt have a ride. Tl;dr, Belltown has some of the nicest staff and they do wonderful work. After my accident, my car looks better than before and even drives better!!!

The proper title is Belltown Auto Sales & Rental - which, as the name implies, means they do a bit of everything including service. I ended up finding them when I was hunting down a used car, and I can say theyre worth the trip. (And after spending two hours lost due to flood detours, you know this is high praise!) Id been to a few dealers who didnt impress me much with their attitude; you wont have to deal with any of that here. No pushing, no up-selling, nothing condescending. (Being a young female car shopping on my own, yeah, you can imagine that was a concern.) Matt was very friendly and laid-back, knowledgeable about his cars and their condition. The car was in great shape, clean and mechanically impeccable. The haggle-free price was reasonable and spot on KBB; if you dread the backroom negotiations part of used car shopping, try them. Theyre also a DMV agent, so there was no mess of lines going to the DMV for the plates and title. Matt was beyond patient when my wire transfer hiccuped, and stayed polite even though the resolution took longer than expected with banking holidays. I cant imagine another dealer would have trusted me half that much! If you want a pleasant, straight-forward used-car buying experience in a clean, personable little dealership, Id recommend checking them out.

*Dont trust Kevin or Jay* All they do is try to swindle your money and their quotes over the phone are never accurate. Got quoted $685 for parts, labor, and an alignment. Got the car and paid $665 but no alignment. What auto shop does wheel and control arm work without doing an alignment? And we all know an alignment is not only $20. Then they were trying as hard as they could to get me to spend another $600 on tires and when I showed up with used tires they got pissed. Also I had a spoiler installed on my car by their auto body shop I gave them all the bolts and everything, but when I go to pick the car up the only thing holding my wing on was glue, GLUE NOT EVEN A SINGLE BOLT. To make matters worse the wing isnt even straight, it hangs an inch of the left side and only a centimeter on the right.

(Family) had been loyal customers to this garage, getting more than oil changes, like maintenance. Overpaid, but I was always satisfied with their work. There was no issue until I met the owner this morning. Coming up the hill on East High Street he not only cut me off, but slammed on the brakes as well, making me nearly swerve into oncoming traffic. It was clearly intentional since he did it a second time, right in front of his garage. I followed him into the parking lot and he wouldnt apologize, instead he barked at me insulting remarks and bragged that he owned the property and would call the cops if I didnt leave. He was very unprofessional and Ill be sure to take my car somewhere else.

I recently purchased a car from Matt at Belltown Auto sales and couldnt be more pleased with my purchase. Prior to my experience with Matt I had dealt with quite a few salesmen at the big dealerships that simply didnt know there stuff. Matt was knowledgeable and not at all pushy, a true straight shooter. The quality of the vehicles at Belltown is top notch and you dont have to worry about getting a lemon. The car I purchased was clean and well serviced upon pickup. Overall Im extremely satisfied with my car from Belltown. For me it was a bit of a drive to get to Matts lot but it was well worth it. If you something in their inventory catches your eye, go check it out.

Brought my car here for emissions testing, I waited a good half hour before they got around to it, they ended up giving me my money back and said they didnt feel comfortable testing it because it doesnt stop. THE CAR STOPS. I drive it every day, it stops exactly where I want it to! Every time. Without fail. Thanks for wasting my time. I would think twice before going here for any actual service. They will probably give you a false diagnosis on any problem and try to milk your money

Purchased a 2006 Subaru Baja from Jay at Belltown Auto Sales & Rental. Vehicle was found to be "as advertised". Vehicle had undergone a 27 point inspection and any issues were corrected prior to listing which gave me peace of mind. I think its a plus that the business is part of a large shop that does repair and body work. They appear to care about reputation and word of mouth so thats a plus. Salesman Jay treated me very well, I would not hesitate to buy from him again.

Misdiagnosis resulting in charginformation for fuel sensor when it was an alternator problem then the service mgr. Laughed at me when I told them I would sue them. Then he said for me go take the car elsewhere refusing to fix it correctly. I will never go there again.

I thought I had been going to a somewhat professional mechanic garage for my usual oil changes. I come to find out that the last time they "changed" it, they didnt do anything but add in oil, not even changing out the old.
