My wife and I have known Mike Corona at Durham Auto and have great respect for him and his mechanics. Our 2003 CR-V has had some starter issues, and Mike and his crew were able to quickly discover that the wiring was done improperly on a starter that was installed out-of-state. He also discovered that someone had not properly tightened the valve cover gaskets and they were leaking after a valve adjustment. Our experience is that Mike PAYS ATTENTION TO DETAILS AND GOES THE EXTRA MILE, WHICH MATTERS IN A SLOW GROWTH ECONOMY WHERE THERE ISNT A LOT OF MONEY LAYING AROUND AT THE END OF THE MONTH, AND YOU WANT VALUE FOR YOUR DOLLAR. That said, I think many people are trying to get the most value out of their vehicles these days, and run them as long as possible. I think Durham Auto is the place to go for solid work at a fair price. Hes thorough, explains car problems well, and does a good job of communicating the various options for car owners. Even though we now live out of state, residing in Massachusetts, we are going to do everything possible to see if we can make the trip and bring repairs to Mike and his team at Durham Auto. Hes honest and knows his stuff, and has very qualified mechanics. On a scale from 1 to 10, Id give Mike a "10" for quality service with a smile. We were even looking at used cars for our daughter who lives in New Mexico, and had we decided to help her with a used car, the ones that Mike has on his lot were clearly very well maintained and looked great. In the future, Id seriously consider buying a used car from him, too. Bottom line: I like my vehicles to be running correctly, and be fixed properly, and I know Im picky about that, so thats why we go to Durham Auto. Were extremely grateful for his service.
