In response to Mr. Dan Christians assault on my business. I Brian Luongo have been selling quality used cars for 30 years, at the same location. About every five to ten years I have to deal with a crackpot like Dan Christian. I originally was going to post my response to Mr. Christians better business complaint against my business to explain what I went through with this loser, but decided it was too long. By the way I have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. I sold Mr. Christian a Chevy pickup truck valued at $12,000 for $8,700. His wife gave me $1000 deposit and a piece of paper unsigned with a request for financing from U.S.A.A. No dollar amount. Useless to me. Later on at my request they came to my office to sign my request and put a dollar amount of 7700 to be paid to my business. I faxed the request to U.S.A.A. In front of them, I called U.S.A.A. in front of them, and was told the funds would be transfered into my account, "sometime next week." I told Mr. Christian the truck would be delivered to them when the funds hit my account. Mr. Christian got angry and belligerent. He expected to take the truck then. Not happening. For the next week, I was harassed and threatened to bring them their truck. At one point, they threatened to come with a flat bed and another time they threatened to cancel the deal. One day the wife would call, and the next hour, Mr. Christian would make crazy threats. Finally, one week later, the funds hit my account and it was time to get rid of these crackpots. Mr. Christian had two different addresses which I think contributed to the U.S.A.A. taking so long. But now after being tormented for one week I feel it is my turn to say a few things. All I did was hold the truck until it was paid for, because Mr. Christian could have been in Hawaii with my truck for a thousand if I released it. Instead of harassing me, Mr. Christian should be thanking me for how cheap I sold him this Z71 Chevrolet. Based upon where they live I suggest he concentrate on selling more real estate (his profession) than harassing people. I have cars worth more than his house. GET A LIFE DAN. Sincerly, Brian Luongo.

I went to Enfield Motor Sales earlier today and had probably the worst and by far the most laughable experience I have ever had at a car dealership. Ive worked at 3 dealerships and am currently working at one and I assure you this is far from a professional dealership; This dealership is extremely sleazy and shady. I went to look at the Mercedes they had there and right off the bat when I inquired about the vehicle the short hefty gentleman that works there started asking me if I had a bank or credit union in mind for the car. I told him id obviously were not even close to talking about finances yet, so then he asked me about my trade (clearly he didnt understand I just wanted to look at the car first) so I showed him the vehicle I was trading in and he appraised it as 20% of its worth! Ive had my car appraised by 3 other PROFESSIONAL appraisers and all were either at its book value or atleast only a few hundred below. He tried scamming me on my trade, typical sleazy dealership technique, then he went and grabbed the keys to the mercedes and we went to the car and when I asked to drive it he said he usually doesnt let customers drive the car before theyve presented him with the funds for the car.....WHAT!? What dealership does that! hahaha none! Only the sleaziest of the sleazy. I laughed at him and said "So wait, you want to get paid for the car before I even take it for a test drive? You want me to commit to buying before I even step foot in the car?!" And he just stuttered and said "well I guess we can figure somethin .." and I just cut him off and said I dont even want to drive the car anymore, im not buying anything from this dealership and got in my car and walked away. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP! Its EXTREEEEMELY sleazy and shady.

Great cars, affordable prices. I have bought two cars from this dealer, Brian, over the past few years. A Volvo XC90 and a Volvo 740. He prides himself on quality used vehicles with low miles. I was interested in a particular vehicle each time and for one transaction he did not have my car on the lot, he was willing to go the distance to track a car down with my specifications within a few weeks, all while educating me on a ballpark of what I could expect to pay. Dont be fooled by the inventory and small location. This is a straight shooting business man who knows cars and how to work with a customer to find you the right car at the right price. I feel I was an educated buyer walking in each time based on research online and Brian provides a no pressure car buying experience. I highly recommend this dealership.

Avoid Brian Luongo, the owner of this place, like the black plague! He is not a professional and has no clue how to conduct business. We left a deposit on a truck on Monday, he dented the truck by Wednesday when he said it was ready for delivery. We used USAA to finance, they do an electronic check, he would not release the truck until funds cleared his account. That is the same as waiting for the check to clear before letting us have the vehicle, even though we provided him two different documents from the bank, assuring him "guaranteed funds" The only thing better than our electronic check from USAA would have been cash! He is an idiot, he should not be in business and I dont recommend anyone anywhere at anytime do business here or with him in any other capacity.

Awful experience with Rides by Joe (Guiseppe Russo) at enfield motor sales. My friend agreed to purchase a vehicle from him for an out the door price including registration and plate fees. He had her sign for a deposit and then a day later nonchalantly mentions additional fees for registering the vehicle. When she told him that was not what was agreed to , he lied and stated that he never said that. He must have needed the 300.00 deposit more than she did. Buyer beware of this guy at Enfield Motor Sales at 525 enfield st in Enfield CT.

I had planned on purchasing a car from Joe Russo. It was made clear to me...so I thought that he would take care of registration for me. When we later discussed it, he said no he never said that. He kept $300 of mine, it had only been a couple of days since. When we spoke later he said hed register it for me if I paid him $100 to sit in DMV. Im disgusted with the treatment I received. Do not do business with them!

Great small car dealership, they work mostly with low mileage cars of nearly every year from 10+ years back to some of the newer models. Got a great deal on my car there, it was 12 years old with only 68,000 miles, everything intact from previous owner. Also great service if you need to go back for anything you might need as well. Highly recommended!
