Cashier and manager on duty were to busy having social hour, acting like they were doing me a favor by serving me, that it put a bad taste in my mouth from the start. Then when i opened the box to 1 of the 2 hoists i purchased it was a used hoist and filthy dirty with packing tape on it. Since it was the only 2 left on on the Shelf I informed the cashier and he called on his radio to ask the manager if there was another one in stock. 10 minutes later, while walking down the isle, texting somebody, and walking slower than a snails pace. She arrived with a box that wasnt even remotely close to the one that I purchased. It was the host after I opened it but once again felt as though that she was doing me a favor. Although I love my Harbor Freight I will never return to that location again.

Inexpensive but as in most cases you get what you pay for. Its junk with a few exceptions. If you are looking at a one time use, you might pull it off without the tool breaking the first time around. Not always, but usually. On the other hand, I bought a grinder once for a one time use and it lasted 10 years. Its replacement lasted 10 minutes as did the one after that. It is what it is. I still ship there frequently and the do usually guarantee most of their products so a return trio gets you a new one and they keep your receipt on file so you never have to worry about keeping the original. More places ought to do this. All in all, Im pleased whenever they open up a new store so they must be doing something right.

Ive been there many times and many times walked out because of the cashier shortage and long wait to get out of the store. There is no smooth process to check out. Every customer gets asked a bunch of questions about signing up for coupons and emails. I went in today for a simple purchase saw a huge line walking in the door and the same line of people when I was ready to leave. Always just a cashier actually working and another going on break with never the presence of a manager who likely hides behind the reflective glass in their office. Sure they have low prices but I believe its at the cost of good customer service. Ill go pay an extra couple of bucks at Lowes or HD and likely get better quality items.

Its a harbor freight like many others. The problem with this one is that twice I have checked their website to confirm they had an item I was looking for and when I arrived they did not have it. I was then sent to another store to pick it up. Ill probably stop going to this store even though it is the closest for me.

Im budget DIY-er and Harbor Freight almost always has the best deal on tools. I know that I can get what i need for my latest project at a reasonable price. Although Ive had a few tools break during use, the large majority of tools get the job done.Plus they mail me coupons for free things every month. 5/5

Decent equipment for a reasonable price. Although I did buy a gun safe from there that had missing parts, but who knows what happened. The prices are why people go here... They are pretty cheap and the products are almost always perfect.

Bought an oil filter wrench attachment which shattered on first use. Absolutely unbelievable I have never seen a forged metal tool shatter like that. Cheap prices even cheaper quality.

They close at 7pm, minus one star. The notoriously cheap and often one-time use tools sold there seem to have gotten a hair better over the past 5 years, plus 1 star.

Love this store. If you need some cheap good hardware, you need to check this place out before you head over to some of the more well known big box hardware stores.

F for Fail. Long line at register couldnt pull it off. 2 other employees disappeared. Needs new management. Sears is right across street and happy to help.
