Went in on 03/05/2016 to begin the process of remodeling our kitchen and installing new flooring throughout the entire house. FIRST customer service is non existent here. I am a former employee of store 4747 in Washington state and just moved back home to Northeast El Paso. Although Lowes is closest to us, I insisted that Home Depot was the store to go to but when we arrived here, the layout was different and I didnt have the app downloaded so we approached a young lady fixing the welcome mats in flooring and asked her where the laminate flooring was she responded "Aisle 6" and i asked where that might be, she literally pointed to her right without eye contact instead of showing us. Thank God I have worked for Home Depot and was able to give all the info to my mother for her house and preferences. We could barely reach the floor samples though and although the older gentleman we saw sitting at the service desk earlier walked past us, he didnt offer us help at all. Your kitchen design section had 3 different ladies and only one helped. After an hour from 1730-1830 and still no help or "FIRST" customer service, your store missed out on thousands of dollars amd my mother suggested we just go elsewhere. The entire time we were in flooring and kitchen, the same girl that pointed, was too busy talking to her friend about some guy being divorced and every one else completely ignored us. As someone who worked in Flooring, I was embarrassed and begged my mother we try again tomorrow at another location. This store needs a refresher course Customer Service. The other employees can thank these associates when success sharing comes around. I hope tomorrow and another Home Depot show my mother why I am so proud to have worked at store 4747 and 6551. I also hope to see a Home Depot in the Northeast soon

Went in wanting the easiest thing ever, a piece of fiber board. We headed towards the lumber/wood aisles and we looked around for what we needed. We found what we needed and so we began our quest to hunt an employee down so they could cut it to the size we wanted. We looked and looked and looked some more. There were other customers looking for assistance as well. Nada. Where did all the employees go? About 10 minutes later we decide to finally walk over to the next department and finally found an employee! The employee was getting mauled (not really) by customers who needed help, since it seemed he was the only one working the sales floor. We wait our turn and finally get to ask him for assistance. He then tells us he cant help us since he is not allowed to cut our fiberboard. Ugh. He tells us to go back and look for that departments associate.. At this point we were done with just standing there not getting anywhere or any help. We decided to leave all the items we were going to purchase and head somewhere else.. A business where there are more then enough employees willing to help and somewhere where they do value our business... :)

Its 105 degrees today. Came in for some swamp cooler makeover stuff. A drink sitting in the shade, birds hanging hanging from the canopy with their wings open, Im feeling like a sea sponge at low tide, but sporting a great crimson nuclear sunburn. Cruising though the isles, in search of an oasis of a stream of cool air, I pick up a whiff of something dead, it gets stronger as I slow down.......ohh...no.noo.nooooo its me! I haul ass over to the cleaning department, to drench my nostrils in some disenfect, I look up. It the bathrooms...race to the sink and give myself an epic scubdown in the sink. A wave of refreshment and resulting feeling overwhelms my senses. With a renewed vigor I continue my search of the initial mission. Finding what is considered the treasure of this visit, and booty in hand I make my way to the register and purchase. I find a very helpful staff and clean facilities here. Very apprehensivly I make my way back to the sunscorded Badlands to continue the adventure.

The worst customer service. I went in for a door security door, I called before I went in to ensure they had the product. When I went i I even went to customer service to once again ensure they had the product. The lady a customer service said she "think" that was a special order product and then I told her I called before I came and was told it was in stock , she pointed me to the aisle where I proceeded to go , I searched the aisle high and low and still didnt find it. I stopped a worker and asked if he could help in which he replied " I work in the doors department " . After searching by myself I finally found it . There was no willingness to help and thats why I gave this location the lowest rate possible . I know that all workers dont know where every little thing is but I would expect for someone to at least have some sort of interest in helping find what I need. I will not visit this location and possibly no other home depot if I can avoid it.

Be warned when renting tools from them. I rented a tile saw for 24 hours and truck for an hour, and was picking up flooring as well. I went to get the rentals first, then the flooring (needed the truck first). Apparently when you rent the tools, time starts when payment is submitted. So it was about an hour and a half from the time I rented the tools and truck until I actually left due to waiting for the flooring and other products I purchased online to be brought out and loaded up (which isnt the issue). When returning the saw, I was charged for over 24 hours, and was never told when I opened the rentals when time started. The associate helping me also was aware I was picking up flooring, and could have been courteous (aka customer service) and recommend I wait to start the rental for the saw. Crap customer service from the rental department.

Lacking good customer service starting with the customer service department. The crew working in that dept. usually talk down to the customer. They seem to forget that without the customer Home Depot wouldnt exist! Some items are not labeled correctly or they dont have a label at all or theres not enough inventory. Hope management looks at these comments seriously!

The customer service is about the only thing I dislike about the store. It has been multiple times now that the employees try to deny me from getting the 10% discount from price matching other retailers price. If I had not asked to speak to the manager I would not have gotten the discount. It is a shame that the employees themselves do not know the price match policy.

Always find everything I need but for the second time i go the same worker just seem not wanting to help me when asked about cutting a board for me. The second time he said there should be a person by the saw to cut it, when he clearly works in that department. Fortunally another guy showed up after 10 min and helped me out. Blue shirt no apron was very helpful.
