I went to Ace Hardware at 100th and Wadsworth Pkwy. I have never been treated so poorly by a person in customer service as I was today. Let alone the owner KELLY. They are showing high reviews because he has his family and friends write them in. Who also work and are paid by Kelly. I went into the store with a return I had the receipt and the product in its original package unopened. Kelly said the product was used. Which it 100% was not. I had actually brought my used one in with me and the new one I wanted to return that I purchased the day before at his store. There was a total difference between the new one and the old one I brought into his store. He accused me of lying. He would not return my product or work with me in any form. I have never been so offended. My feelings were so hurt...I was in tears with the way Kelly spoke to me. That he would accuse me of lying. I left the product and receipt at his store and walked out. Kelly himself would never allow himself to be treated the way he treated me. I can not even express in words on how hurt I am by his actions. I spoke to this at our neighborhood association meeting. Many other people had mentioned many issues with this store location as well. Another story was from a man. He went to return a product he paid cash for for a like item in a different size. Kellys daughter was working and she would not exchange it. Its sad as a business owner myself that there are people in business who think it is okay to treat a customer that way. When it is us who pay his bills. Thats okay...Karma will take care of this. He will be out of business...just a matter of time.

I am a property manager and visit this store often when I need a small amount of items and dont feel like going to home depot. Ive always received outrageously good customer service when Ive gone there. Several different team members have gone out of their way to help me find a weird part or come up with a solution to a problem Im trying to solve. I have had at least a few returns that were handled with no issues. It is a small store but they always seem to have what I need tucked away somewhere.

Just like everybody else, the bottom line is that this ACE Hardware has bad customer service. I want to support these "home grown" stores, but after 2 or 3 purchases online for pick up, AND JUST AS SIMPLE TO PICK UP AN ITEM, they screwed it up. Seriously, I get better service at Harbor Freight, a store which everything is manufactured in China...If you wanna play the Made in USA card, up your game for damn sake...

New as of 2014 and my first experience was great! Didnt feel hassled by the staff when I first walked in but they did check on me. I asked their advice on a simple plumbing part and I can say that the recommendation useful (not speculative general salesmanship). Afterwards I can say the advice was well founded and I am very happy with the product and service. Im very happy that these guys moved in!

I had such a good experience today with this Ace Hardware! I had a paint mishap and they were able to match my paint color off of a tiny patch of my drywall. I was dubious about how well it would match, really dubious, but the paint is on the wall where I patched some screw holes and it is a perfect match. Ace is known for their customer service and today was exceptional!

I have never had any issues with this store nor none of their employees. Then again I have never broke any rules they have. For example returning used goods. You say it was brand new, but I bet it wasnt. Maybe use a picture then Ill believe your biased review!

Great customer service here, everybody is friendly and will help you. They also have a good selection of metric bolts which is very nice after searching and failing to find what i was looking for at home depot and lowes.

Answered phone before store was open on a Sunday. Located product for me and had it waiting at counter for me when they opened. Friendly, helpful and "down to earth" place. My "go to" hardware/general merchandise store.

Smaller than average Ace and the staff arent quite as prepared to assist you as they are at the other stores. I come here when I dont want to drive to Home Depot and know they will have the product Im looking for.

Was asked if I needed help finding something as soon as I walked in. Unlike the big box stores nearby that has staff trying to avoid eye contact the people working here were very helpful and I found what I needed

I would call this Ace express or light, their customer service is great but their selection is so limited, your better off going to a larger Ace.
