Ive always found the selection to be ok, the service acceptable, and the prices a little high, but its close to our house and convenient. We dropped our lawnmower off here for service in late May 2017. We were told we would receive a phone call explaining what needed to be done and what the charges for that would be. They never made that call, but a little over a week later they said we could pick it up and charged us about double what we had expected to pay for the service. I called to speak to a manager about it, explaining that had I known it would have cost that much, I would have just put the money towards a new mower. He said he would leave a message for their Owner, who never bothered to call me back. A phone call would have been appreciated and I take from this experience they dont care about my future business. I wont come back here again.

OMG! I am so happy with this place. Forget home depot and lowes. I had a horrible awkward door knob situation and after 2 trips to home depot (going to be 3 after i return the product) I went to ace and they helped me find the right door knob for my retarded door and even took off the plate for me that I wasnt able to have on the door. Instead of paying $50 for a new door knob set i was able to buy just the cylinder thing. I explained this several times to home depot but they wanted me to chizel my door?! Im a female I cant chizel!

I own the Sport Clips that is in the same shopping complex as this Ace Hardware. I have visited many times for different odds and ends to fix up my shop and Ive always received great customer service. Today, Larry, went above and beyond my expectations. He allowed me to borrow a ladder for a quick project, however I didnt notice closing time was 7pm and he waited an 15 extra minutes until I returned. I really appreciated that you went above and beyond. I will be back again I promise.

The staff here are super helpful. Even if I go in to spend a small amount, they are willing to give me advice related to my home repair problem of the day. A huge advantage over the big box hardware stores is that you can get a small part you need, rather than buying a bulk pack that will just sit on your shelf. I also appreciate that its family-owned. At least one member of the owners family is there on a typical Saturday. Thats a great sign of their investment in the business!

NOTE: Google Maps shows the wrong location, the store is actually located across the street on the last few yards of Ridge. These guys are a class act. I have gone in several times with different questions/problems and theres always someone standing by who A. has an intimate knowledge of the store and inventory and B. actually wants to help you (instead of going through the motions). If you can skip lowes and Home Depot and go here, definitely do it.

My Sport Clips location is in the same shopping center as this Ace Hardware location. I have been in many times for different little odds and ends for materials to fix up the shop. Today Larry went above and beyond to help me out as I needed to borrow a ladder for a single project, not only did he allow me to borrow the ladder but stayed 15 minutes past closing so that I could return it. Thank you for meeting my expectations as a customer.

Found what I needed, however when I asked if theyd price match, the OWNER said she needed concrete proof of the price difference. I provided that to her, as the day before I had been at Home Depot. The same exact paint was 4 almost $5 more at this Age. She said she would not match the price, even with the concrete proof. I only went to this location because it was much closer to home. I chose to go back to Home Depot.

I was looking for nails for my nail gun. The person I asked led me on a 5 min walk around the store. Then finally gave up and asked another employee who was not familiar with the product. I asked them to find someone who knows where they are. he replied that no one knows anything !!! I dislike going back to the big box stores but no alternative is available.

Came in looking for work. Was turned away, because the manager said specifically, "Id hire you if you were a high school boy." Isnt that kind of discrimination illegal?!?!?!? I could absolutely do the job, and I could really use the job. What happened to being an Equal Opportunity Employer???

This is the worst location ever! If you have a choice go to the one in University Hills! The older woman who typically works the register and answers the phones is a mean and nasty person. I have had it with multiple bad experiences with her and will never return.

Surprised this stores exist still. 99% of their staff has no clue what they are doing and they close too early every day. Luckily I know what I am looking for and they have what I need thus the 3 star rating.
