In preparation for our new hot tubs arrival, I needed to fix a leak in the gutters that was dripping on the patio where the hot tub will be. So, I go up to Green Mountain Ace Hardware. I arrived there an hour before closing and headed to the back corner, for gutter repair parts &supplies. I looked at everything and tried to figure out what I should get. At ten minutes till closing, an employee comes walking up. "Can I help you?" "Yes, thank you, Ive got a leak in the gutter over the patio ..." "Were about to close" said the old guy who works there, as he walked away. I was shocked at the appalling lack of customer service! I live nearby and Ive spent hundreds of dollars there in the paint department alone. I was so mad, I almost walked out to get my gutter repair stuff somewhere else. I was tired and it was dinner time, so I grabbed what looked like the right parts & supplies to fix a gutter leak. At the cash register, the young dumb cashier asked, "Did you find what you were looking for today?" "Actually, I dont think I did. Im trying to fix the leak in the gutter over our patio, and Im not sure if this is the best elastomeric sealant?" "Were about to close" said the young dumb cashier, as she rang up my purchases. Ace Hardware Green Mountain, you suck! In the absence of helpful advice, Im going to start shopping at Home Depot. Their prices are way cheaper, and they at least try to be helpful.

Dont purchase anything if you have tattoos or piercings. I recently purchased a gallon of acetone (I use as brake cleaner and to clean electrical components in vehicles) and some vinyl tubing to repair my sprinkler system in my garden. I got to the person at the counter and I got a "What are you doing today?" I heard it as "How are you doing today". So I replied "Good, how about you?" She said "Good" and repeated the question. I paused, because Its an odd question. She continued and said that acetone and tubing are very suspicious. Implying that Im some degenerate meth cook or something. At that point I got pretty angry but explained what my uses were. I paid and left. Never going back there, even for a single bolt.

I grew up in this area, and now visit family at least twice a year from the SF Bay Area. Every visit I find myself at this Ace Hardware....to help with some home repairs. This is by far the best Ace I have experienced. The various employees know their stuff, jump to help you as soon as you walk in the door...and follow thru on difficult tasks. And they are typically dead on....in their suggestions. The gals at the cash register....complete the pleasant experience...always pleasant, happy, etc..... This Ace should get the "Ace" award.....

I couldnt be happier I stopped in this morning. I was asked if I needed help right away and the gentleman I was assigned went above and behold to help solve a bolt sizing problem Ive been having for too long. This was something he was very knowledgeable about but wasnt argent or demeaning to me for needing so much help, a problem Ive had often at other chains. What a beautifully kept store where all or the staff was helpful and friendly. I will be coming back, I hope for a long time.

Worst customer service ever. I waited around for 10 minutes for someone to help me then I went to the desk and had them send someone to help me and waited another 15 minutes and nobody showed up so I just left and I will take my business elsewhere. Even one of the employees that was helping somebody on the same aisle as I was said that theyre not hiring anybody and theres not enough employees to help the customers.

Horrible...their store manager was so rude!!! My friend got his hunting license there a month ago with our new address on the back of his license no problem. But when I tried the store manager border line yelled at me that it wasnt going to work. My friend who works with the DOW (division of wildlife) said he shouldn be able to sell me the license and change the address. All in all I wont be back...ever.

They tried hard to help me get a new regulator and hose for my grill. In addition to other items I was going to purchase I needed a 30 inch hose which they didnt have in Stock. They wanted to sell me a 60 inch hose instead. I didnt want that much hose but offered to buy it if they would sell it to me for the same price as the 30 inch hose. Shirley said they couldnt do it so I am going to another store.

The new layout is horrible. You have to walk through a maze to get out of the store. They force you to walk through the line of cash registers just to get out. I will never go back to this place. The sale that was mentioned on TV was not offered at this location. Getting in and out of the parking lot is a joke too. Now the staff is friendly and helpful but not worth the hassle.

Very rude and very unprofessional. Asking to have something so simple done cheap. The owner (I found out later) was rude to me as a customer because he didnt care to do it, he tried to refuse service. I took my project to the Lake Ridge Ace Hardware and the customer service was stellar they didnt even charge me. I dont recommend, theyre lazy.

I intentionally visited this store thinking that they would surely honor their own web sites price for artificial Christmas trees. Not true!! According to the store manager, each store makes that decision. I went to another Ace Hardware, 7 miles away and was given the 40% advertised off online price.

The most customer service oriented Ace Hardware I have ever visited. The staff is friendly, courteous and always ready to help lead you directly to the item you couldnt find. They must train for product knowledge too. I am so very lucky that this store is so close to me.

The employees make this place! Very knowledgeable and happy to help you find what you need. It doesnt matter if youre looking for a particular screw or an LED lightbulb or a new grill. The do have less variety than the home depot but their customer service cant be beat.

Lived here 27 years,the place never got better. Still use it if I need a bolt or tiny thing, but mostly go to Home depot. Maybe they will make a huge profit from my purcheses. But remember, they are there for your convenience, huge markup in that.

Amazing customer service! Everyone was so ready to help, was so professional, and pleasant. They gave us and our kids free popcorn and cookies, which was very welcoming. Weve been converted from Home Depot to ACE just from one experience.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Quick turn around on other services. Location is convenient. Do wish prices were a bit cheaper...and that we could double up on coupons with sale items. All in all its a great place to shop.
