We have experienced absolutely unacceptable service on multiple occasions from this Home Depot. We live in Evergreen and are in the process of remodeling several rooms of our home, so this is obviously the most convenient place for us to pick up and order things from. Some of the multiple problems we have experienced include: 1. Rude and unhelpful sales people when trying to ask questions regarding deck surfacing products. 2. Unresponsive and untimely service from the paint department. 3. We ordered $2,500 worth of kitchen cabinets from this store and have had nothing but problems with this particular project. - The serviceman who came to our house to measure for the cabinets apparently did a terrible job, as the measurements were incorrect. - We never received any sort of quote for installation, which we asked for on three separate occasions. - The cabinets came in late, causing problems for us with our granite countertop supplier. - When the cabinets finally did come in, they were the wrong color, and we are currently trying to resolve this issue with a most unhelpful Home Depot employee. What is most unacceptable is that Home Depots business model is centered around helping their customers with DIY projects - every interaction weve had at this location has been the complete opposite of helpful, creating more work and complications for us to deal with.

I bought a dishwasher and clothes dryer July 15th. They were delivered July 20th. The dryer did not fit in the space. The delivery guy said it had happened before and if I got a flexible hose it would fit. I had 48 hours to report an issue so I called on Sat the 22 to say it didnt fit. The person in appliances said he wasnt sure what could be done and they would call me on Monday. When I didnt get a call, I called and the women I talked to said it had been more than 48 hours so I now had to deal with the appliances company not Home Depot. I explained that I did call within 48 hours but she again said it had been more than 48 hours so it wasnt Home Depots problem. I suppose the size issue could be blamed on my inexperience in buying appliances but why didnt the salesperson ask where it was going and what size requirements I needed to know for purchase? Why didnt the delivery people say I could send it back if it didnt fit? All in all it was not a good experience - the biggest issue being them not taking responsibility for not dealing with the issue when I called and telling me it was my fault for not calling within 48 hours.

I had a very negative experience with the delivery of a washer/dryer and will never order appliances through Home Depot again. I ordered a washer and dryer and was given a delivery date about a week out. They called the day before delivery and gave me a 4 hour delivery window (1:30-5:30pm). I confirmed it and made sure I was at home then. The next day, I received a call at 3pm saying they might be up to 2 hours later than the 4-hour window. At 7:30, no one had come yet. I called Home Depot and explained the issue, and I was told that the delivery truck was still out and should probably still come that evening. They gave me the number for the delivery company. I called the delivery companys office and they were closed for the night. I left a voicemail. The following morning, I called them back, waited on hold for a while, and finally got through, only to be told that they arent sure why our washer/dryer wasnt delivered, but that they can try again next week. I cancelled the order.

I wish I had read John Skinners review first. I also bought carpet and got terrible service. Then I got a $2000 sliding door for my home. The door took forever to arrive and getting someone to talk to about what was happening with the door was near impossible. The door finally arrived but was defective. Neither Home Depot nor the manufacturer (Jeldwen) were interested in making this right, they wouldnt return my call or do what they promised. I now sit with an unfinished wall and plastic over the windows because the door has to be changed before the job is finished, Im out $2000 for a door that wont even lock, Im out what I paid the contractor and Home Depots continues to give me the run around and wont return my calls. This is without a doubt the worse customer service Ive ever gotten. Will NEVER EVER purchase anything at the Evergreen Home Depot!

Not sure how much of the previous reviews applies to this store vs. decisions (like outsourcing of installation jobs) that are not in control of the store. I have received wonderful service every time I shopped at this store and the associates are not only friendly but also have very good knowledge of their departments and are very willing to share it. Just this morning I went to this store ready for get tools and supplies for a (what I consider) big plumbing job. Bob from the plumbing department walked me through a process to fix the existing (leaking) valve rather than replacing it. I just got done with the repair, it worked exactly as Bob explained it and there is not a drop of water coming out of the repaired valve. Bobs time and knowledge saved me a few hours of work and a lot of dollars for tools and supplies.

Im amazed at the poor reviews below. Every time Ive gone into the Evergreen HD Ive been welcomed, more than helped, and each employee takes it upon themselves to take ownership of customer satisfaction to the degree that I will travel a bit farther to this store than to the one in Morrison, where I feel totally anonymous. On two occasions employees stayed past their shift to assist me, even though I came in late due to work. Their advice has been excellent, and specific to mountain community conditions. You wont get that down the hill. Their store is smaller, hence no doubt the comment about inventory. So is Morrisons for what that is worth. But I either go here, or Aspen Park Ace, unless I absolutely have to go elsewhere.

I bought a new refrigerator from this Home Depot. It was delivered today and my wife was at home to receive the delivery. When I came home from work today, I tried to purge air from the water lines per the instructions on the refrigerator. As I did this, water pour out of the refrigerator all over my kitchen floor. The fact that the deliver guys didnt check the system to insure it was working properly is inexcusable. I called the issue into Home Depot this evening......well see how long it takes for Home Depot to fix the issue.

The worst Went in today for a basic 1-1/2 abs coupling. Spent 20 minutes trying to find it while employees walked past ignoring me. This is the same service youll get anytime you go in unless your looking to buy expensive appliances or cabinets. I eventually walked out and drove 40 minutes to Lowes to get what I needed. Its a shame this is the only hardware store in town otherwise Id never set foot in it.

Went to this Evergreen store( which I live in Evergreen and use this store almost weekly) and was treated super disrespectfully. Sally in carpet and a man with a beard in the paint section, were beyond rude. So, I will be moving all my services to the Golden store. Working with Andrew and Ken in the carpet department was a dream. They were super helpful and kind.
