If you are interested in knowledgeable staff for any level of home repair experience go to Ace. Unlike Home Depot and Lowes the people here actually know their stock and how to fix things. Dont expect that from the big box stores. There are a LOT of items at Ace that big box stores dont carry, especially if you need hardware to fix a broken or missing bolt. My most recent example is a pipe fitting. Home Depot doesnt carry a 3/4 MIP to 3/4 Barb pipe fitting but Ace does. For the items that big box stores and Ace both carry, expect Ace to cost a little more. In many cases Aces products are built better. If you can buy the Ace brand it is usually cheaper and better built than Home Depot. The advice they give at Ace, especially for the home repair novice, is worth paying extra for. It sure beats 3-4 trips to Home Depot because some 18 year old kid there knows nothing. Plus as I said before, Ace carries a LOT more items. I have never had a problem with returns and I go to this Ace almost once a week. Even though Aces are individually owned, this Ace has accepted returns from the Cherry Creek Ace and Green Mountain Ace. The manager Ed is very nice and has bent over backwards to help, even keeping the store open after closing for 15 minutes so I can get my parts. I would also recommend ignoring the post from Danielle Yuthas. She obviously has no idea how paint works. You should NEVER expect to buy paint at different stores and get identical shades without color matching. The pigments probably left the factory identical, but they age a tiny bit different and the pigment mixing equipment is not perfect. You should ALWAYS color match when buying separate batches and ALWAYS buy extra paint when doing a whole room. I have purchased Benjamin Moore paint at this Ace to replace an obsolete cheap contractor product line Benjamin Moore no longer makes. They looked up the color mix and then color matched 5+ year old paint. Wall looks fine.

This is a nice place to go for hardware related needs that dont include lumber or bulk construction materials like drywall. They do have a good selection of tools, fasteners, paint, etc. Ive always headed over to this location for quick hardware needs since its so close to where I grew up and currently live. Everyone is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I do think that they need more registers open during busy times, especially on Sunday afternoon. Other than that I would recommend this Ace for your hardware related needs.

if i could rate the store alone itd be a 1. if i could rate rob alone itd be a 5. ive had multiple experiences specifically with the post office where employess like to give me a hard time. they are rude and not helpful. i went in a few days ago looking for specific screws. walked around about 15 min and was never approached....i left and came back and quickly rob assisted me and helped me find what i was looking for. i went back in 2 times that day and he helped me both other times. this store could use a few more robs.....

Has all sorts of useful stuff here from sunscreen to retractable clothes lines in addition to the basic hardware supplies. Staff go above & beyond to help out. When plywood they sold turned out to be too big for my project, Sam helped find a piece of scrap wood from the back and then shaped it to match the pieces I needed duplicated. Def out of the scope of normal services provided but their willingness to help out=forever customer right here.

Ive gone here several times since moving to the area. They have an extensive selection. The boyfriend usually ends up finding something he didnt even know he needed (like how I am at Target). The staff is helpful too. I usually have to track someone down for help, but once I find someone, theyre great. Plenty of parking and right by King Soopers, so you can knock out more than one errand at once.

Disappointed. Came to buy some paint, no one was in line and it wasnt even busy. Young lady who was helping me was talking to me like I was some low life being. Not sure if I will ever go there again, well not for paint thats for sure. Very unhelpful. The only reason its not one star because the cashier was the only person who was very polite and respectful.

Great service, great location! Ace always has what I need for general home maintenance and every staff member is always polite, personable, and helpful. Having postal services in house has saved me lots of time from waiting at the USPS. Kelly, one of the managers, is a pro at paint matching. I love having this place in the neighborhood.

I personally love this ACE. I have never had anything but great service from everyone I encounter. They are knowledgeable, friendly and always bending over backwards to help me. I love the personalize service I get over the big box companies. I have done several home improvement projects over the summer and ACE had everything I needed.

High compliments to Rob in the HW section. I asked about a masonry bit and he replied with an insightful question about my project, and subsequently made a great suggestion. I "used to" expect this from HW stores, but that era is gone. Great work Rob, thx for the assist. Great store in general w very helpful team!

A word to the wise, do not use them for color matching on paint. HORRIBLE! I got the paint home, and it was at least 4-5 shades darker than the sample I brought in for them to match. Great little store with great staff, but if you want a paint match, go to Sherwin Williams or Home Depot.

Ive always had good service at this neighborhood hardware store. The store is large and has a good selection. I especially enjoy the outdoor grilling section because of the amazing selection of sauces, rubs, injections, etc.

Always great customer service. Not the place to go for a big project due to overall selection. They do have a great paint department and if youre ever looking for a single bolt, nut, or screw, this is the place to go.
