Ive been going to Kipling Ace Hardware for close to 20 years. Employees are always helpful, and generally friendly. Sometimes, when I ask them, they do tell me what to do. Of course thats one of the big reasons I like them. Sometimes, if I ok it, they even do the job for me! Shane is great, and helped me fix my sons pocket knife and my wifes kettle. Threads needed to be re-tapped on the kettle. A replacement nut, for my sons knife, needed a little modification on a grinder in the back of the store. I knew how to do both, and could have taken them home, but Shane wanted to make sure it was all working before I left the store. In those cases he charged me nothing for the extra work. Sometimes, depending on the job, they charge for such things as cutting pipe, etc. Theyve always been more than fair with me. I noticed someone below says that Lowes is cheaper, and for some things Im sure they are, but the service and convenience at Kipling Ace Hardware is worth more than the extra cost to me, and Lowes didnt have free popcorn and coffee the last time I was there. Standard, of course, at the Kipling Ace Hardware just three blocks from my house. :-)

Horrible customer service! 2 other customers helped me after the 2 ladies at the front were rude and useless when we asked for something and they told us they did not know and turned their backs. Another ASSociate told me he didnt work in the department we were looking. We left and called the manager and he told us he would mention it to them and offered no apologies. Go to the other hardware store further north on Kipling or go to a big box store.

I was surprised to see rows of candy and bubble gum cigarettes at the check out stands. I didnt even know these were still legal. I told the manager how disappointed I was to see this and he obviously couldnt care less. My take away? There are other ACE Hardware stores with different ownership and managers. I will go to one that cares about our kids and their futures.

Copy my truck keys after i ordered from dealer they mess up my key with no sorry even the reason way the machine move how only god know stuiped answer and they did care and i told i needed to pay for one key copy wow never see rude ppl like the two kids copy my key soooo rude never go there

DO NOT GO HERE. They treat their customers like dirt. You will be astonished about how rude they are to you. The manager with all the tattoos will do anything he can to rush you out of the store. Very unsatisfied. I will be writing a letter to corporate.

Went here to get my lawn mower tuned up. They quoted me $68, which is a ripoff in itself, but then it ended up being $100 because they charged me for parts and if you can believe they charged me to screw in a bolt! Will never go to Ace Hardware again.

I use to like this place until recently. It seems like all the employees are rude, and should tell you how to do things. There rental prices are way too high, and you can get most things at home depot or lowes for cheaper. I am shopping elsewhere

Just got some keys from the dealership cut at this location and they worked perfectly! Not sure what went wrong when Bassam had their keys cut, but they did warn me several times before they cut them that they werent responsible for any errors.

My go to place for buying nuts, bolts, and screws with good prices. They have items that the big box stores dont have. Friendly employees. Looks like things were not so well 2 years ago or so based on the comments.

Worst customer service I have ever had to deal with in my life, when I really needed it! Do not bring in repairs to these guys they will look at you like you are completely stupid.
