For over 30 years I have frequented Meyer Hardware. I have to say, this business exemplifies customer service, and service to community. Steve, Jimmy, Greg, and the entire staff consistently provide excellent service on every visit. And the selection of items in the store seem to reflect most every need a Golden resident will have - from kitchen & household products, camping gear, hunting gear, lawn & garden, to plumbing, electrical, tack, & most every nut, bolt or washer you need. And if they dont have what you need, they are willing to help find it. Meyer Hardware is truly an integral part of Golden, and a real helper to Golden residents. Thank you guys!

I grew up in a small town and always went to my local hardware store. I was worried Id have to go to one of the big box stores when I moved here.....then I found it. First trip was for a pair of gloves and I have coming back ever since. If they dont have what you are looking for you dont need it. Recent trip was for wiper blades and the gentleman came out and helped put them on for me. Love the service and help filled smiles around every corner!!! By the way I priced checked some of the things I bought here at other places around town and Meyers was at or below the other places. Support your local businesses!

The best kind of small town hardware store. A surprisingly wide selection - from hardware to home repair, automotive, electrical, camping, bicycling, hunting, painting, cooking, cleaning, .... The knowledgeable clerks will take absolutely unreasonable amounts of time to give advice on a $5 item. I go at least twice a week. Very friendly to dogs and children. They can send items out for repair and also order specialty items for you.

If it exists, some body at Meyer knows about it. If they dont have it, they know where you can get it and probably how to use it. You wont ever find your self wandering the isles of desperately seeking a knowledgeable person. The employees really are the best. You definitely pay a premium for their products, but you wont waste two hours wandering the canyons of the Home Despot searching for your widget either.

Excellent Hardware store. They dont have everything but as someone said, "If they dont have it, you probably dont need it." At least you can find out that they dont have it in five minutes instead of wandering around a warehouse for 30-40 minutes. For someone who has been dealing with the big chain stores, this place is a relief. The folks at Meyer Hardware actually want to help!

excellent service. the help is knowledgable and seemingly truly enjoys working there. and there are tons of them - seems like they have as many people as customers - hope they can afford to do that. but, not overbearing. pleasent shopping experience. surprisingly wide array of products, but selection is limited.

Spacious, well stocked and nice surprises on each aisle. This is a hardware store but I just bought three kitchen essentials from their wide variety of gadgets, and my total was less than $20. This place is loaded with treasures.

Jim is the man, he knows where everything single item is and happily takes you right to it. Meyers also does FFA transfers for smaller firearms, which is super convenient!
