Ive had an AWESOME experience with Tacoma Custom Jewelers, and working with Dan. Im a bit of a jewelry addict, and prefer high quality and unique jewelry, and was thrilled to find this gem of a store on 6th. This is a bit of a long review, but I had to share! I went in with a strict budget to see what I could design for an engagement ring, as I did not want the traditional diamond and chain jewelry store setting. I had an idea on the type of stone, which is fairly rare, but hadnt been able to find one from a source I could trust that would still leave money in my budget for a creative setting. Dan spent a lot of time with me, offering options that could keep me within my budget but get the look I wanted. He had some great suggestions on other options for stones, including one that I had never heard of before. When those options didnt work out, he had a network of people he reached out to in order to find just what I wanted. In addition to the hunt for the stone, Dan has this amazing computer program you can use to design your dream ring. Unfortunately, the dream ring I designed was a bit beyond my budget, especially with the spectacular stone hed found. I was bummed, and at a bit of a loss for what I could do. Conscious of this and respectful of my budget, Dan found a ring in his estate jewelry section that had a setting similar to my design! With some work from his master bench jeweler and the placement of my stone in the setting, my ring is everything I was looking to find! Simple, unique, and stunning. I really appreciate how knowledgeable and honest Dan was, and all the time he spent to help me get just what I wanted. Ill definitely be back, and will recommend this place to all of my friends!

I had an expensive bracelet that kept falling off my wrist, so I wasnt able to wear it. It sat at another jeweler for a month and she couldnt get the job done. TCJ completed the job in a few days, had a better solution than the earlier jeweler, and charged less. They offer beautiful pieces though out the shop. Owner is friendly and provides exceptional service.

First off the store is beautiful and nothing like the chain stores. I went in looking for a gift for my mother in-law and the owner suggested a couple things he was very helpful and I bought a necklace it is a jewelry design called Rio Design very nice for a lady that is in to statement pieces. I sent it to her and she fell in love. Thanks Tacoma Custom Jewelers.

My fiance and I came to Tacoma custom Jewelers with a piece of jewelry that we wanted to turn into an engagement ring. He sat with us and designed my ring. I love this store its so fun and I love that you can get one of a kind pieces. Dude that works there, Dan, is awesome. Went in looking for a resize with a complicated metal treatment. When he wasnt sure he could help me immediately, he referred me somewhere that could do it for sure rather than make me wait and take my money. Great experience and nice laid back conversation.

Ive took two of my watches here now to get fitted and fixed and I was very happy with my service. There was a problem with rust in one of my watches but it wasnt a problem for her. She will get done what she says she will and is highly recommended to anybody.
