Amazing experience does not do the experience I had with Penny Kelly of Kassab Jewelers justice. Was shopping for a surprise engagement ring for my girlfriend. I live in NYC, and there was a specific Barkev engagement ring that I had my eye on that I knew my girl would love. After much searching, the only place I seemed to find the ring was: Kassab Jewelers in Portland, OR. I was worried how I could make this work since it was a surprise engagement and, like i said, I live in NYC. So I called Kassab Jewelers and spoke with Penny Kelly. First of all, you can tell right away that she absolutely loves what she does and its not all about the dollars and cents with her. She got me the absolute best deal on the ring. But more than a sales rep, I wanted to propose soon but all my credit cards were maxed out...so guess what? Penny was able to act as a liaison to a major credit card company and I was able to secure a credit card because of her (with 0% interest for 13 months if I may add). And with the additional credit, I was able to pay for the ring in full, thus speeding up when I would receive it. Penny knew it was a surprise engagement so she made sure to only contact me via email and when it came time to send the ring, she made sure to sent it when she knew I would be home to grab it the morning mail to keep everything a surprise. Everything worked like a charm. Finally the perfect moment came when I was at the beach with my girl, the sun was setting, no one was around...we had the whole beach to ourselves and thats when I got down on my knee, the tide splashing up against me and took out the ring. She. Was. Floored. Needless to say everything worked like a charm and my fiancé and I are very happy. If you are an out of state buyer like me, no worries, Penny Kelly of Kassab Jewelers will 100% take care of you. And no sales tax on the price which is a huge plus!!! Cant thank penny enough. She was able to take an idea and help turn it into a life long memory that my fiancé and I will take with us forever. She helped me...and if you are looking for help with the perfect engagement/ wedding ring, I have no doubt, shell help you too. Cheers.

I am adamant about this amazing bespoke boutique....Kassab Jewelers is the best and only place to find the quality, cut and service you deserve. They take pride and passion in making you happy - and their impeccable taste is critical when you need an advisor...after all, you need to get this right or you may regret it forever. I tried twelve other jewelers prior, only to find few carried a decent inventory; no one wanted to lift a finger to find or provide options; few had CAD design capability, wax modeling, or both; hardly anyone could offer decent options for affordable custom transition between stone and setting. Basically everyone tried selling me something I didnt ask for or want, and let me walk out the door like it was no loss to them. Kassab, however, listened....they ordered 12 stones to my specifications with GIA certifications and within budget - next day air, for free...We carefully selected the best stone - together - and two immensely charming & sophisticated women then spent the rest of the day with me finding the right setting...a beautiful Mae Vona Scottish heritage custom design from New York. I was stunned. They thoroughly enjoyed making my life and this moment wonderful...I am eternally grateful. I learned national profit driven franchises werent really offering true cost-effective quality. And few privately owned jewelers had enough scale to handle custom orders or custom design...nor have most modernized, meaning they remain low tech and purposively obfuscate transparency in buying diamonds on the open market. If you are a careful, loving and thoughtful buyer who wants service as it ought to be, and a diamond worthy of your true love, Kassab Jewelers is your choice, hands down, no matter how far you must travel to get there...

We spent several months researching, viewing, and contemplating what physical characteristics and aesthetic design elements our engagement ring should possess. While we saw a variety of options at different jewelers, we always felt that we were in some capacity settling; not the way we wanted to describe such an item and such an experience. While our first meeting with Alyssa at the downtown Kassab location did not reveal our ring, we both knew that we had found the right place and the right person to help us complete our journey. Alyssa is knowledgeable, personable, and has an extraordinary ability to listen and understand what her customers want; traits that made our ring purchasing experience not only hassle free, but fun and memorable. From the outset we knew some of our design material choices were going to be atypical. Instead of the traditional diamond stone in a gold or platinum band, we wanted a Moissanite stone in a palladium band. Alyssa was able to walk us through the pros and cons of different materials and combinations. With her help, we found our ring. We had no sense of settling, but rather a sense of excitement as our ring is exactly what we had envisioned from the beginning. Our experience at Kassab has been nothing but wonderful and for that reason we will continue to make Kassab our jeweler of choice.

Penny helped me create my dream ring. I had searched for years, unable to find exactly what I was looking for once my husband and I decided to upgrade our set. One day while shopping downtown last year, I wandered into Kassab on one of their Tacori event days. I had never looked at Tacori rings, but immediately feel in love with their craftsmanship, beauty, attention to detail, and their use of certified conflict free diamonds. I knew I was on the right track with the brand, but still couldnt find the exact ring; it just didnt exist... yet. When I explained what I wanted, I held up two rings. "This top", motioning to one ring, "on this band", motioning to the other, in platinum, with a pink center stone I already have. "We can do that", said Penny enthusiastically and cheerfully - and she delivered! It took a few meetings and adjustments to the digital drawings from Tacori, but eventually the design was perfect and the ring of my dreams was born. (I would HIGHLY suggest anyone creating a custom ring utilize the digital computer designs offered for the extra fee. They were extremely important when communicating with the Tacori team in California). I look at my ring every day and am constantly blown away by the details and beauty of this piece of art I get to wear on my hand. Thank you Penny, Kassab, and Tacori! I am beyond happy.

Buying an engagement ring can be a fun yet painful process. Thankfully Penny at the downtown Kassab Jewelers was there to ease the pain and made the process more enjoyable. Having a reputation for being extremely picky, I did extensive research to find the exact diamond that fits my long list of requirements and his budget. After months of searching online and talking with Penny, I finally found something I love. Penny helped us negotiate with the seller and got it within our budget. The next step was designing the ring itself. Me and my fiance had an idea in mind but wasnt sure if it will turn into fruition. Penny reassured us that the staff at Kassab will take care of everything. She was right! I sent her a few pictures of what I was looking for and before we know it, she sent back a CAD CAM of my ring. After I gave her the green light, the team was off creating my perfect engagement ring. I couldnt be happier with the result. The team at Kassab Jewelers was always attentive to my needs and made sure everything was done with a smile. They even cleaned my jewlery whenever I stopped by. I would definitely recommend Kassab Jewelers, especially Penny, to anyone whos looking for some bling!
