Ive visited this location several times and received the same treatment every time I went. While the sales associates are nice, they will hound you relentlessly until you leave the store. Statements like, "can I look around the store?" results in being left alone for 10 seconds and then being followed again with, "here, take a look at this ring." With my most recent visit, I went into the store knowing exactly what I wanted. I knew there was a high chance that the yellow gold ring that I wanted wouldnt be in store due to the trend of white gold and rose gold. With that being said, I would personally rather buy in stores to allow local employees to earn commission rather than buy online even knowing that the wait time would be longer than ordering online. A sales associate came up to me and asked me what I was interested in and I told her that I wanted a yellow gold ring and simply wanted to see if they carried it in store. I told her I would pull it up on my phone and she completely disregarded that fact, then started trying to show me various rings while I was trying to pull up the specific ring I wanted from the Zales webpage. She didnt even ask me about my budget. I shot down every ring that the sales associate tried to show me and then she had the nerve to ask, "well, what dont you like about these?" Its not the ring that I said I specifically came into the store to buy, thats what I didnt like. After attempting to show me several rings while I was trying to pull the ring up from their website on my phone (poor reception in-store by the way), she then mentioned that she could just pull up the ring on the store computer. It would have been nice if she had mentioned that before trying to show me the higher priced rings... Yknow, so she would have had an idea of the style I liked. When I managed to pull the ring up on my phone, another sales associate butted into the conversation and tried to do another "upsell" by insulting the ring of choice before even seeing it, implying that I should invest invest in a higher quality metal. If she had taken even 2 seconds to look at the ring I pulled up on the phone, she would have known that the ring I wanted to order was pure gold. By the end of this visit, I was fully fed up with the pushiness of the sales associates and told the sales associate not to bother ordering the ring in-store. The sales associates need to learn to listen and take time with their potential customers rather than shoving random high priced rings in their face. They lost an almost definite sale with their terrible customer service. When somebody plans on dropping several thousands of dollars in the store, the least the sales associate can do is take 5 minutes out to learn about the wants of the customer. Trying to maintain a smile and hard selling irrelevant pieces isnt going to cut it. Needless to say, I got my engagement ring somewhere else. If youre searching for an engagement ring at a reasonable price, I would highly recommend Kay Jewelers or Fred Meyer Jewelers in the mall. Both stores have excellent employees who try to learn about the customer before even suggesting jewelry. At both stores, I was free to look around, unlike at Zales where I wasnt even given an opportunity to LOOK at the rings in-store before an associate glued themselves to me. I would never recommend going to this Zales location for something precious.

The salespeople only care about commission. Sold me a ring that they said could resize but later stated they could not. Extremely unprofessional. Do not buy from here, a waste of time and money!
