Been going on a year+ now to get 6 cabinets installed in a kitchen. Meanwhile Ive been without water because, I have no sinks. Ive had 3 different installers from Home Solutions who they contract out there install to because they either dont stick around or were so terrible I had to get another one. Even the manager from Home Solutions came out herself and ordered new parts because the material was damaged. She screwed up the order also. This is the 5th time Ive had to wait for material which takes a month+ each time. They knowingly sold me defective product as they even said themselves we can order this but, the manufacturer is going to keep sending out defective material. The manufacturer to stay away from is Hampton Bay cabinets. Every single step of the way has been met with issue. All the way from the beginning of the measurements which were incorrect so they had to make a design change last minute and I had to yet again wait on material. Meanwhile, I cant refinance my condo which has cost me thousands of dollars as interest rates keep going up in the process. Including many days from work and my time verifying their work. I usually stay away from places with 3 or less stars. I should have stuck to that. I agree with many of the other reviews as the management is terrible, the quality is terrible, and they really couldnt care less. Unfortunately, I cant give anything less than one star or I would. Aside from management, there isnt a single person that still works there that Ive worked with from the designer at Home Depot to the installers at Home Solutions. By far the most incompetent people Ive ever worked with. Im the one that has to suffer as they just keep pushing paperwork around and reordering material. Its an absolute joke.

Okay... Jessica - AVOID AT ALL COSTS unless you like short temper belittling customer experience... Store manager Alex - is afraid of customers when his staff messes up and will offer a 10% discount on one item your getting not every item.... Trying to sneak it by us but I had to show him an online order proving him wrong... He brushes everything off and tried to take the almighty calm authority due to his height over you, uses it an in iferieor Im a store manager..... Trever - you my man deserve to run this store! PROMOTE TREVOR! AVOID STAFF IN GROUPS they will pull their phone it to not help you.. If you bring your dog beware - the staff will bombard your dog and overwhelm them and then walk away not asking if you need anything Also overheard Store Manager Alex tell a pregnat woman where the carts are verses hellping her out.... After telling her excuse me to get our cart by before her WOW WOW WOW WOW Lastly... The older delivery woman (white hair apologies if this offends whomever ) had to ask me to help her because she has to unless a grill and patio furniture all by herself.... OSHA lawsuit waiting... Worst experience buying cabinets. They absolutely dropped the ball a handful of times by not returning my 8 calls with messages over a period of 2 weeks. After purchasing my cabinets, there was an issue when they submitted the order to the vendor, which caused a significant delay, however I was never informed of that issue/delay. While trying to obtain a delivery date, I was promised information 4 times and was never informed until I called them again. Requested a price quote for additional product and didnt receive the information after leaving 4 messages and speaking with the AGM and designer personally. Funny part is that out of the blue" I received a call from the distribution center (3rd party) on 6/3 for a 6/4 delivery date, however I never knew they came from a 3rd party, and couldnt receive 20 boxes with less than 24 hour notice, especially since i tried to find out the delivery date since 5/16. Youd think after spending $8k (just on these items) that they would call you back so that i could plan for the installation. Of all the stores, vendors, contractors, inspectors, etc.. that I dealt with during this full remodel, they are By Far the worst performing AND least apologetic. Pathetic.

Well its been four months since I signed a contract to do 10 windows, I have paid 3 months on these windows. Initial measurement, (done by salesman), was wrong, Oct. 18th 2014.. The second & final measurement done, ( after I called seven weeks later), completed. Called to get an installation date, after waiting the two weeks. They would call back with a completion date on windows. Windows would be here last of Nov., called again windows were ordered with wrong measurements from salesman not final measurements from 2nd measurement done by INSTALLATION MANAGER. Would have to reorder ALL windows. Delivery date on second order Dec. 29th. Installation Jan. 16th.Home Depot crew came on Jan. 16th, after husband & I spent six hours moving furniture and window treatments, frew manager said this would be a easy & fast job. Measurement take inside again, went to trailer, measured again, windows wrong measurement. Home Depot has never reordered new windows. Crew left, called Sat. 17th , Elizabeth said she would have Max call me with a new schedule. I now sit here waiting three days later with no news, no phone calls and 3 months paid for and no windows. I would never employ Home Depot services again.

Visited the painting department to have a color matched. I first gave them the paint code off the old can. The guy mixed the gallon, gave it back to me without checking to see if it was the same color. I opened the can at the desk after noticing the employees lack of concern; low and behold it was not even close to what I brought in. He then tried matching the paint 5, yes LITERALLY FIVE, times. I accepted the last batch he gave me as it seemed the closest to the original, took it to the job site and it is obviously not the right color. When I asked a different associate a department specific question he lazily waived his hand in a vague direction and said "thats a Millwork thing". Being that I dont know my way around the airplane-hangar sized building I was certainly perturbed by his lack of willingness to direct me. With my experience: Go to Ace, where they know how to match colors & give a damn about who walks in their doors. Aside from some of the associates that work there, H.D. has a fairly large selection which is what merits this one star.

Too bad this is the Home Depot closest to my house because I will travel elsewhere. I have been sorely mistreated on several occasions. I bought a new doorknob worth over a hundred dollars, had to bring it in for a key match and when I brought the item with the receipt to the cashier, she banged it against the register repeatedly scratching it all to hell. Ive caught attitude from several other employees who clearly dont know what they are talking about and dont bother to try to find me someone who does. When it is my project, and I have questions that need answers, "I dont know" doesnt suffice. I know this will happen no matter where I go, and has even happened to me at the Alameda location between Wadsworth and Sheridan, but it seems to happen consistently at this location. I wont stand for this considering how many thousands of dollars I spend there.
