Let me start out by saying Heather is the reason Im even putting one star if there could be a zero*it would be. I came in this morning at 11 oclock to buy flowers for my wife and three men stood around looking at me from their customer service counter and I finally walked over and the all had attitude about the fact that they didnt have someone on Sunday to do floral. The youngest of the three men with a scowl went out and search for someone who is on her break, Heather.. She was very professional and friendly even though she had never done before in her 22 years of working for the company. Safeway wants to even stay alive as a company I would suggest having all of your employees switch roles sometime in their career to be trained properly for any situation.

I have been a very loyal customer for 6 years and I come here because its quiet, they know me, and I can shop without bumping into people like King Soopers. The prices are comparable to KS and they have a lot of sales, clearance is always great. I would like to see more lanes open for checkout. While it wasnt a problem for the fist 5 years I went there, they seem to be getting more business so when I do my huge shopping twice a month, I have to go through express and that just feels sooooo rude and uncomfortable. They implemented a "threes a crowd" policy and that helps a little but Id love to see a regular lane open all day too, if possible.

Stuck in line again, they only have 2 lanes open max and 3 employees just walked into break room, I shop here for convenience but Im switching to kingsoopers, take like 15 mins if you have to use customer service for their manager to wake up and finally summon someone , edit: dropped to 1 star, their failure deadlocked pharmacist filled my prescription with the wrong brand even though my doctor specified the brand very clearly multiple times, Ive been sleeping like crap the last week and now I know why, idiot dreadlock pharmacist. Go somewhere else

I love this Safeway in particular because the employees are so friendly and helpful. I know most grocery stores are that way but this one for me is like family. Ive been doing my shopping here for a couple decades and theres very little turn over so I get to see the same friendly folks about every other day. The produce and meat departments are the best quality and if they dont have something you want theyll start stocking it. Maybe Im a little bias since I was a carry-out when I was a kid and my brother was a checker.

Always clean, plenty of parking no matter what day or time - the deli staff is the best - friendly & helpful each visit - makes you smile. Pharmacist is always extremely pleasant & caring - cant say enough good things about this place. ONLY suggestion is adding a self-checkout would be nice - also - something is wrong with the automatic doors when exiting the west side - sometimes it doesnt open and you have to walk to the other end to leave.

This place is a joke. I wanted to do sundae for the kids. Found the ice cream then spent the next 15 minutes looking for whip cream. No one helped. No one seemed to be in the store. So then I thought I would get magic shell. No magic shell. I say screw it we are only getting ice cream. I go to check out. 2 cashiers open with 7 people in each line. Going to King Soopers from now on

Went at 11:10 PM and they had closed early, shows severe disregard to customer service, the associate I talked to after knocking on the sliding doors wouldnt let me in and claimed that they had already "closed up". frustrating that they didnt follow what their website said about closing times.

They always seem to be out of the sale items. They dont have as wide a selection as other grocery stores, and the prices are slightly higher. The produce is always nice and fresh, and they have a lovely bakery section.

They are permanently closing soon, just as they were improving. Currently some marginal inventory closeout sales, will probably get cheaper as they start to run out of things.

They continually stop carrying items that I need. For example unsalted peanuts. I went to the store two times today and both times they had no shopping carts.

Friendly and helpful employees. Clean and well stocked. Only issue would be that there are usually only 2 registers open.
