*!!WARNING!!* DONT GO HERE. Poor Service! Having been in the store for an hour already finding out where everything hand been moved to, I was ready to leave. I went to the self checkout because it is usually the quickest. The clerk working was very rude and gave me a dirty look when I called him over because the machine was asking me to remove the last item I had scanned. He took his time digging through my bags to make sure I wasnt stealing anything. Afterwards he just hit a few buttons on his hand held device and walked away without saying a word. This happened a second time and I wait for him to come over. He was helping another customer but once he was done he took off. I waited several minutes but ended up leaving the bagged groceries and my half empty cart because he never came back. I will never shop at King Soopers again. The cashiers are rude and the employees on the floor act like your trying to kill them if you ask them where anything is. What a joke this place is!

Great supermarket! ALWAYS CROWDED. Parking here can be rough during the busy times, and if you need a cart return, forget it! That being said, fresh produce always stocked, and a good clean deli area with prepared foods including fried chicken, pastas, soups, and decent sushi. Good kitchen/housewares section with frequent clearances. Pharmacy area has some makeup, toiletries, etc in a favorable selection. Cashiers are quick and efficient (Ted is the best, been there forever and so friendly). The floral gals are so helpful and obviously love what they create. Also, king soopers typically has small sections for each aisle labeled Organic and Gluten free which can be SO helpful if you typically shop these products. Soopercard is easy to sign up for and saves you a decent percentage.

While reading other reviews, I agree there are situations when employees act like we are not important or there is no personality or genuine concern for customers concerns or just good customer service. So with this I write that Karen a Manager at the Uintah K.S. store heard my concerns did not brush me off and send me on my way . She heard my concerns and ultimately left me a very satisfied customer . I shop at the Monument store and live in monument and at times feel there is no personality or even the slightest quality customer service( Except for the kids that work in produce) in my home Store, leaving me to call another store for assistance . Thank you Karen, if more employees and managers were like you, more people would shop at King Soopers.

When The Pain Was To Much

Im Going to 7-11 for cigareets and anything i can next time because if you go around 4-5 ish in morn they dont care because what allways takes 5 min took over 30 min this morn.. it took 3 employees to finally help and find the right person to help...as it turns out the person i talked said hi and asked to help with cigarettes in first place when i got out of cab who said i dont do cigareets ended up being right person in first place i wouldnt beupset if he either told me hold on im on break or ill be right their but he said he was not able to access it he lied...... Humm customer service is to lie??? And on top insted of paying what i pay a cab i had to pay extra for their lie or lack of care.......

If theres anything you need? Theyd probably have it. -Sushi is okay not good nor the best just plain okay Now lets talk about the bakery? The donuts are FANTASTIC!!!! I dont mean the one that sits on the shelve from the previous night in the discounted area. Im talking about the fresh donuts? Its good. Im normally not a big fan of filling. They have two types Ive noticed...one is sugar cream filled while the other is custard like filling. Instead of the fillings be thick theyre actually filled with air in the fillings giving the lighter texture which makes it more awesome. The people are awesome.

It would be nice if their money order machine did not conveniently shut down and not work from about the 29th of the month to the 4th or 5th of the following month, but they have their many excuses and it is the worst thing about this store. Overall they have wonderful customer service, but just like anywhere, there may be a rude employee here and there . It is a clean store, and good selection in the produce and meat section. A major plus is being able to purchase small amounts of REAL cheese to try before committing to buying so much. This store is the Cadillac of grocery stores for us common folk.

Its fun to shop here! Employees are hard working, knowledgeable, and friendly. A couple of their employees are a bit challenged which speaks to the compassion of the management and company. Perhaps a couple of the negative comments below were posted by former employees who were less that what KS expects. And in contrast to that crypt called Safeway at 31st & Colorado, KS is brightly lit and usually pretty busy. It is convenient to get cash at check-out and fill-up the tank on the way home. Getting on and off of Uintah is difficult sometimes, but the lot is always clean and free of snow.

Hands down, BEST grocery store on the westside. If you live in Manitou Springs, drive the extra mile to King Soopers DO NOT (!) waste your time and MONEY at Safeway. King Soopers has the best prices and and the best quality, you dont need to pay Whole Foods prices when theres a King Soopers in your neighborhood! Oh. And their bakery.....so amazing, best cake donuts Ive ever had! Thank you Uintah King Soopers for having so many great deals and an awesome staff! I always leave your store with a smile on my face!:)

This location has been my "go to store" until recently. They are currently remodeling this store but that does not give their employees the right to be rude and not provide assistance when asked; Today is the last day I will bring my business here. I do believe King Soopers to be a great company, its just to bad their management of this store is not. Please save yourself a trip and go to one of their other locations or Safeway on Colorado Ave. Feel free to contact me for more information. -Sam

Its not only close to my house, I prefer to go here. Almost everyone employed there is friendly. They work efficiently in the check out. If an employee sees a long line they will open another terminal or if you dont have a piled full basket, Someone will check you out at the self checkout. The only thing Ive ever had an issue was they stopped offering sodastream refill service. Once a month I dont mind going to filmore & centennial location to do this. The prices are very competitive.

The only reason its not a higher review is because they have these new camera systems everywhere! Not only do they "ding" constantly and drive me nuts, but I also hate having a close up of me on the little tv screens. I cant concentrate on what Im supposed to be getting, and it feels so icky. Tonight I actually felt my chest getting tighter. Yuck! I get the whole shop lifting thing, Ive even helped catch a guy at this location before, but dont punish me too!
