Terrible. Every time I go in, its the same story. Management needs to hire some employees, as there is always a line and only 1 cashier working. The cashier (Diane) is the worst. Am I expected to always bag my own groceries? Again, does anyone else work here? Where is the management? If you cant hire some kid for $8 an hour to do the job, then maybe you need to be out there doing it. Then you can observe the fact that your cashiers are slow, unhelpful, and not paying attention. I live 2 blocks from this location and every time I go there, I do so with dread and disdain. Rarely have I ever left with a smile on my face. Safeway should take a hint from Sprouts, which is where I plan to spend my money from now on. They dont seem to mind hiring people to do the job.

Pretty terrible service. Asked the deli counter to cut some cheese slices for me. When they handed it over it was cut so thin (Ive used thicker paper) it was nearly falling apart. I asked him to cut thicker slices for me, and his under-his-breath comment was "for real?" This time, he checked with me - the second time, the slice was nearly 1/4 inch - which in my opinion was a sarcastic/exaggerated response to my request. He eventually got it right, but didnt even attempt to act like it was OK for me to request such a thing. In addition to that, the attendant at the self check out line was not too attentive. Even when I went to ask her a question, she did her thing, all while talking to her associate, paying no attention or respect to me.

Its comical that the better the neighborhood gets the worse this store gets! The food at the deli and bakery is always short dated, for example its already been sat there for 3 days when you buy it so its pretty much expired. Food in the fridges is never rotated so thats always short dated. Dont bother if you need to be done in any less than an hour because theyll only have 2 people working checkout and the self service either wont work or steal your ID. Safeway, please hire some manager that know how to run a store!!!! Until you do king soopers on38th will get our business. your food standards are so low you should give your customers some free toilet paper and rename your store the "un-Safeway"

Came at 7 and the deli closed at 8. Most of the chicken was dried out and gross. The nice lady instructed me to get the better stuff which i did...no macaronie and cheese bc it was close to closing...an hour was left....thats no good. I had to get potstoe salad and they only had a half pound of that. I had to get macaroni salad so i got half and half. Yuk. No rolls so she grabbed off the shelf. That was nice . overall the people were nice the food wasnt bad but fairly priced. But they were out of everything an hour before....seems like you would try to keep stocked until clising time but whatever. I ate the chicken and rolls the rest was not what i used to get so blah....

Rolled into this store with 15 minutes to spare before I had to meet someone for lunch. I figure I could get some salsa, chips, tomato paste and sauce with plenty of time to spare? That went well until the self-checkout, my mad skills at scanning items was too fast, it says remove last item. Okay so I removed it from the bag and rescanned it, nope it did not like that. Okay so hit cancel all and just start over that sounds like a plan. Well of course not, it says wait for assistance. Three employees standing around watching me struggle and now three employees watching me leave all the items at the checkout and watching me leave.

I dont mind coming here but sometimes like today the customer service is not your top notch. Look, I get it you dont own Redbox. Get this, the ATM at our work we dont own but if a guest needs help with that ATM we dont say you have to call them and walk away. At first we assist the customer/guest to see if its something we can do. I feel like yall could work on half of your employees on customer service. Especially this cat who was behind the "customer service" desk.

I have been shopping at your store for 30+ years. Today was the last day. Not only did you rearrange the store making my shopping trip a nightmare, but you havent restocked the shelves in over a week. I still couldnt get the items left on my list from the last time. I give up on the list and go to check out and there is ONE lane open at 5:30 on weekday--the busiest time of the day. Id have had better luck trying to shop at a 7-11 for my groceries.

Do not eat food from the deli here! The deli food had alot of mold growing on it. Thick white, blue and green fuzzy mold. It had to be growing mold for several days. Really disgusting. I told a deli attendant. He couldnt care less. Didnt even bother to go check. So I notified a manager. He also didnt care and seemed really annoyed I even told him. Pathetic.

Went in to buy water and an apple. Water was marked on sale rings up full price. Apple was a Honeycrisp in the on sale Fuji apple bin. Go back to get another apple because mistakes happen. Whole Fuji bin is Honeycrisp which costs more than twice as much. In the area all the time, but I wont be back.

I see everyone writing posts about the bad service when in reality if you actually pay attention they dont have the help they need. It is not the people who work there themselves. They are good people, not once have I had a problem here. They just need to hire more thats the only problem.

Ugh. I cant even come here anymore. The pharmacy staff are so rude!!!! They never check for call-in prescriptions. Waited for over an hour with strep and a fever, or with sick kids in tow. When I ask them to check the messages they snidely inform me they only check every few hours.

I understand it is Christmas but the gals you have working in the deli right now are honestly either having a bad day or are just rude.... This is usually my go to but lately your deli people seem like they need new jobs or a good coaching......

I am outraged by the tardiness and obliviousness from management at this location. No employee at any register, I had to scan over $200 in groceries using the self scanner. Ill be sure to not shop at this location after dark.

The staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. We love Dominic. Butcher is great. More than happy to cut your steaks and roasts just as you want. Great selection of Colorado-say Angus.

This is a Ghetto ass Safeway that uses "Bait and switch" pricing....NOwhere in the store will you find the green chili dip advertised here. Or an associate or manager for a rain check!
