THEY STOLE OUR MONEY!!! It was our first week in Denver, Horrible blizzards, we were getting a foot of snow every weekend; we went there to pay our Xcel deposit since it was there by the Main branch of our Post Office. We give them the deposit, they give us the Xcel receipt. I run to the car being pelted by ice, and somewhere along the way the wind snatches the receipt. 2 weeks later we get our bill for Xcel, says we still havta pay the deposit! Cant find the receipt but; Hey! That shouldnt be a problem! I have my bank record with the transaction on it! So I call Xcel, they say the money never reached MY account and I would havta go back to the store and find out where they sent it. Hey, should be easy! I have the exact transaction amount, date, TIME... should be EASY. Except I call, talk to the manager, he says should be no problem but I gotta talk to Crystal who handles that stuff and shes on vacation. Leave my name & #, nothing. Call back 2 weeks later, no Crystal. Again leave name & #. Month goes by, nothing. Call and talk to manager again, leave name etc, WAIT, NOTHING. Call back... This went on for 2 YEARS till I finally gave up. Someone somewhere benefited from my $268, wasnt us. Meanwhile, if Im late on a Xcel bill I immediately get a shutoff notice.

I had an awful experience at your store today. I will never go back. I called "customer care" and had an equally bad experience. If your Visa credit card doesnt have a pin number with it you cannot use it? Ive never had a pin for this card. She wouldnt take my drivers license as verification of identity. I would have had to have them put back all of my groceries because I didnt have my PIN number for my card. And I should have. Thank God I had to check on me. Otherwise I would have wasted 2 hours of my day. I will never be back to a Kroger store. How is a PIN number more secure than my photo identification? At least offer to accept it this one time so I am not horribly inconvenienced - and now anti-Kroger. I am so upset and disappointed at the awful "service". And dont try to hide behind "well its our policy". Its fine to change your policy, but its not ok to presume your customers know every policy update you have.

There is an old lady here that works at Starbucks here her name is Rachel she was very rude and she made a racist statement as soon as I walked into the store “to stop this black boy from coming into our library you know what we have to do” I’ve had rude people at Starbucks but she was an exception she also called me a servant. Whatever happened to good customer service I spoke to the manager Gabriella she did not seem to care either. Customer service is the key to a successful business treat all your customers with respect its common decency. Americans have companies all over the world, in Africa too, making millions of dollars a day how would you feel if somebody in a foreign country hurled abuse at you, somebody you’ve paid for a service. Somebody needs to look into this and retrain Rachel.

For quality assurance monitoring and training purposes this store is out of compliance when individuals are wanting cash of their debit card. 2x on two separate occasions I had to argue with CSR then educate and navigate to he and she what they are doing wrong. Spoke to Manager on duty first time and she apologized and provided me the remainder of my funds I requested. I came in a week later to do another transaction and the same thing. Let me provide clarity of what your CSR at front desk are illegally doing. Giving my real example: I requested $257.00 off my debit card. They have a fee. They charge the fee and my cash back is lesser then requested. Your suppose to charge your fee and Im still due my $257.00

Sure this might be Denvers famed "crack Soopers" but its MY crack Soopers. Lots of sketchy characters, but Ive never had any issues and they frequently patrol the parking lot. It seems like they have decent management as there are a lot of the same staff here from when I first moved to the area 3yr ago. Everyones super friendly. Although this store is frequently very busy, the convenient location and adequate staffing makes this mostly a non-issue. They lost one star for their customer service/financial services desk closing at 10PM. I desperately needed a money order at 10:05 and they werent willing to help me out because they "had to restart the computer". Boooo

I was at a conference at the convention center and this is the nearest real grocery store. Some of the reviews here make it sound like a war zone or a real sketchy place with awful service. Im glad I ignored them and went anyway. Its a perfectly respectable mid-sized grocery store, with decent selection of produce, deli, bakery, etc. Staff is courteous and competent. Yes they have uniformed guards to help keep out the homeless who frequent the area, and all along Cherry Creek, presumably as it has places to camp. As I am a paying customer this doesnt bother me. I was glad that this store was relatively near my hotel.

The inside and selections seem fine to me, but tonight I went there and upon coming out of the store, noticed that because of the parking lot being confined under that building that it just reeks in there. Its needs to be washed very, very badly. Not appealing at all. I found myself covering my mouth and nose just to get to the car. How disgusting. Suprised that no health place has ever said or made them do anything about it. Is the Denver sanitation department run out of there also, cause it sure smells like it.

I normally go to the safeway on 20th and Clarkson, and I heard that King Soopers was supposed to be the more upscale grocery store, so I went to the one on speer since its closest to me. 5 minutes into my shopping I was approached by a homeless man INSIDE THE STORE asking me for money. Really? Way to make my shopping experience enjoyable. The place was also in the middle of a remodel and I couldnt find anything. The employees were very unhelpful and didnt know where certain items were located. Never going back again.
