Avanza bakery sucks I order a cake 3days in advance so they wouldnt call me last minute saying they didnt have the decoration I order n it turn out that way they call me last minute to say either switch theme or get money back like it so easy to go and order a cake 1hr before party w the theme u want I swear n the manegers there never there.dont order cake from here she even had the nerve to tell me she had to call 3 other clients to say there theme wasnt there they are so inresponsiboe they shouldnt even run a bakery.

DOnt shop here - Larry - Today I absolutely will not shop her or any other Avanza has they charge a 10% surcharge on every purchase. The sai is not a sale, only a bait and switch as the total price, including the surcharge is often more than you would pay at any other store for a similar item. This store is especially an eyesore to the community and is dirty inside and has trash around the outside. The nearby community should be in an uproar!!!!

From what I saw while I was there, the store looked clean. Thats always a great plus in my book. The check-out clerks were nice as well. The staff from what I heard mainly speak English and Spanish. Great place to shop if you are on a very tight food budget like me.

The spice selection here is so cheap! The food selection dry goods wise doesnt compare to a Kings or Safeway and San be pricey. But if you take the time to look around, you wont leave disappointed.

Its a local Spanish grocer, with lots of Hispanics foods. Was clean and neat, and employees were very helpful on finding out, for what I was looking for.
