Its a typical Safeway store in most ways, made a lot uglier since management made them turn on the big, bright florescent lights, instead of the warm and "cozy" spot lighting they used to have. Now, it just looks like a Walmart inside. As for products, this may be the place to go for those hard to get items youre looking for; their selection of condiments (sauces, mustards, etc.) rock, and its where I go to get my favorites such as Tiger Sauce, Pickapeppa, Beer & Brat mustard and others; their meat selection is also top shelf, being the only grocer I know of to carry USDA Prime cuts. The bakery is also quite good, with a large selection of artisan breads; however, I wouldnt buy my produce there. I often find its not the freshest; green beans, for example, that would work well as rubber bands. All in all, a pretty good store, about the same price as King Soopers when all is said and done.

Poor at best. I only use this store because Kroger no longer accepts my part D prescription coverage. I would not recommend this store for any reason. I requested a refill of a prescription which should have been a 90 day supply and received a 30 day box. I have never been able to get my phone number added to my discount card. Broccoli in the Asian food retail section was dried, produce was unlabeled or mislabeled, store layout makes no sense, personnel in various departments are at work for their wage Second rate store. King Soopers is just down the road. A much better choice.

Ive been shopping Safeway for over 25 years. They have great produce and all of their selections in the store fit the demographics of the area. The prices are fair and you can always find good sales along with building points for gas rewards. The associates work hard and are subject to scrutiny on a daily basis. They may not be overly friendly because who can these days? with unscrupulous shoppers complaining about the tiniest thing. The store is clean, well run and the employees are real. I like going there and frequent weekly.

Staff is perfectly friendly and helpful but you can never just run in and out, you will always be caught in a line. I cant count how many times I hear three is a crowd over the intercom while Im there, this is what they say when they need backup at the check stands. Also they dont carry half the heart healthy brands that long soopers does and they have a hard time keeping things stocked also because they are understaffed. They need to pay their employees better.

Friendly staff, clean and well organized layout, pharmacy is convenient and helpful. Breads,meats and produce sections are consistent and fresh. Prices and product availability are subject to normal seasonal fluctuations. The branch petroleum products store is very convenient and is as well run as the grocery store.

This Safeway is a nice market. Its kept clean and they have a good assortment of groceries. To me it seems less cluttered than the nearby King Soopers (also a decent place to shop). Prices are ok overall, but you can score some even better deals if you use their club card. Recommended.

Of the two supermarkets in Conifer, I frequent this one more often due to a SLIGHTLY more customer friendly pharmacy. However if you are looking for better produce, King Sommers is toy better bet. Other than that the two stores are nearly identical in what they carry and their pricing.

I much prefer Safeway to King Soopers. Nevermind that Kings was a war zone as they renovated, but Safeway consistently has better prices and cuts of meat, a better layout, and a cleaner, nicer store. Its a little out of the way (off the highway), but its a nice store.

Get Real

Good place to shop because its not crowded with people that think shopping is a social event like the Conifer King Soopers. The prices are a little higher and the selection not as good as King Soopers but shopping here is a much better experience.

Pleasant experience. The store is clean, well- organized and staff is friendly. The isles were well stocked and offered a variety of brands and product choices. Surprisingly calm atmosphere for a grocery store which made it a pleasant experience.

This has got to be the worse Safeway I ever have been to. Poor customer service and the check out cashiers have a bad attitude. Gave them 3 chances. Your out!! King S. is where I will be shopping from now on.

Avoid the car wash! It was so bad, I had to go to another car wash to remove the crud it left on my car. I dont think it has a spot-free rinse, so the windows were heavily spotted.

They have a good coffee roastery in the back corner. The whole beans are roasted regularly, and customers can request a variety of beans custom roasted to their preference.
