Racial Discrimination: I was in the self check out line and a mom and daughter (of racial background that is non-caucasian) were at the check out next to me. The Safeway employee who normally is helpful and friendly stared at this family and watched every single item they scanned, making comments that sounded as if she was accusing them of trying to steal. Ive shopped at this Safeway for years so it says something when an interaction such as this struck me as racial discrimination. My check out lane flashed for help from customer service and this gal refused to come over, ignored the buzzer, and kept watching this family. When I finally held up the sale sticker from my egg carton and asked how to proceed, the gal came over and YELLED at me! Im sorry, you do not speak to a customer in an accusatory tone! How embarrassing. Instead of allowing me to explain that I had scanned the eggs, the sale price did not register, I didnt want to remove the eggs from my bag to set off the buzzer, so I pulled off the orange sale sticker to scan it thinking this is all I needed to do, the machine registered and buzzed for assistance, I walked over and said I didnt want to have to bother her and I wasnt sure what to do, and she freaking yelled at me! "Dont you remove the sticker! Never remove the sticker, you need to ask for assistance and wait your turn!" Was I just accused of trying to rip off Safeway with 50% off eggs (the coupon wouldnt have registered if I snatched it from a different product)?! This is literally the 8th time in the past 2 weeks that the sale price of products has not registered. Between how I felt the family in front of me was being treated and then I felt accused of stealing, I will never return to this grocery store! Its worth the 10 minute drive to Louisville to the King Soopers...much better products, fresher food, and respectful staff. No wonder so many employees quit and walked out a couple weeks ago. Safeway, get it together!

This is my favorite grocery store. It is usually quite and is very clean and has a good layout. It isnt the biggest Safeway but I have never had an issue finding what I need or the exact brand that I want. There pharmacy is by far the best I have ever been to. The people are so nice and helpful and quick about getting scripts ready even though they are short staffed. ( Usually only one person working) I have been going to them for 7 years and will continue because even though the pharmacist have changed the friendly and helpful attitude has not. They are currently doing a remodel as of 6-21-17 and Im not sure when it will be done so just keep that in mind if this is your first time going. All in all I highly recommend for your grocery and pharmaceutical needs.

The store is ok, but the staff, in particular the lady working the deli/prepared foods dept (on a Tuesday at 5pm) was very rude and acted as though i was some burden and asking for noodles was some annoying exhausting task for her, and it was supposed to be "hot" but when I asked to have it hot she refused the extra step and said she didnt have a microwave. By then i didnt even ask for the Smoked ham I also wanted, becuase she left and returned to the back before i could ask her of another burden. Felt really bad and disrespected. Short darked haired lady. I will not return here.

I live in Superior and have been shopping here since the store opened. The produce section is not as good as the KS in Louisville but it is pretty good. The prices are too high at Whole Foods for me to shop there regularly. I dont agree with the negative comments about customer service. I have never been treated poorly and in fact I have found the customer service to be excellent. I dont know what is up with those two posters who gave it a one star. Its a supermarket, not the Ritz Carlton.

The service has always been great, and their selection seems to be getting better and better to satisfy the Boulder-county demographic. While Costco is our primary grocery store, this Safeway provides everything we dont want to get in bulk - and is our default store for any missing ingredients for a dinner recipe. Its also quite accessible by foot or bikes (lots of trails behind it) - if you are so inclined and live in Superior.

Checkout guy was not at the register and was sitting at the table with his girlfriend. Appeared actually annoyed that he had to check me out. Twice the cost for the same product as Walmart, but at least someone was theoretically at the register. (I was also charged 14 dollars instead of 10 the price tag said, even with my "Safeway Card".)

I called Safeway to see if anybody has turned in my lost wallet and the lady said shed be right back but ended up hanging up the phone on me and when I try to call back nobody answers. It even seemed like they answered but then hung up the phone right away. Just seems a bit rude to me all I wanted to know is if they found my wallet or not.

Terrible customer services. Went to return a defective product and gave me some bogus return policy then tried to explain loss/ gain to me like Im a 16 at his first job. What was frustrating was that I know what was being sais was untrue. Never going back. Luckily I dont live where there are lot of Safeways.

My wife diligently uses the Just 4 U individualized specials. Frequently the advertised items do not ring up with the appropriate discounts. She carefully checks her receipt before leaving the store. Some managers accuse her of lying others quickly refund the difference. Bait and Switch.

Clean and easy shopping. They do need to keep up with sale coupons often leaving expired ones up. Even with that minor issue they are a 5 star supermarket compared to the Louisville Kingsoopers madhouse and smelly Safeway across the bridge in Louisville.

Location is not as slow as many of the Safeways around town, but could use some updating after the takeover of Albertsons. Otherwise, pretty normal location with what youd expect for a Safeway.
