OMG what is the deal with the check out persons dirty disposable gloves???They use them over and over touching my credit card, my receipt, pen, and groceries. They protect their hands but they obviously spread whatever all over. And then they touch their cell phones and their face. It is obvious the gloves are dirty as they look black. YUCK. They also have a cartful of rotten vegetables or fruits behind the registers on sale. They could not pay me to pick those up. 2nd YUCK. What I like? It is spacious and have variety of rice I can pick from. They also have the Japanese soda that are expensive in the restaurant.

Very clean and a huge variety of Asian food. I cant imagine not finding any ingredient I might need for an authentic dish. Unfortunately the first clerk I asked for help was unfamiliar with the soba noodles I wanted, but I didnt have to look far to find someone who could point me in the right direction. In addition to the noodles, I bought an interesting - looking sweet from their extensive aisle of cookies and candies. I made the choice based on the picture on the package, because everything is written in the native language. I like a little adventure when I grocery shop!

I like VH and P markets. I find everything I need and if I need help I can always ask. I enjoy learning to cook new things since Im generally good at following recipes amd adjusting to my taste #NoAllergies so I can eat what ever I want!♡ I like the fresh produce and how clean it is. Ive tried several of their snacks bought a few pans which are so nice!!! I donated a few of my last ones. Miss the Albertsons and Mexican Grocery there but a grocery store is a grocery store and I can go somewhere else for what I need. (I follow sales so it dosent matter~)

One of the Vietnamese cashier girl was nice and helped me with getting the vegetarian hoisin sauce. But the rest of the cashiers, owner, and staff were rude and unhelpful. Glad I dont have to return to this place to get Asian groceries. I was thinking of giving them a 3 star because of that nice young cashier. But really dont like the rest of them. Sorry but you deserve 1 star for customer service.

Great selection of Asian products. Although the staff is not very talkative to "white boys". I live in Japan and the grocery clerks here are very friendly. Im giving them a 5 because of the selection and nothing more... they use to have an awesome "duck box" they use to serve when they use to be on Alameda, but they no longer do it :(

This place is great. They have a lot of the stuff that pacific ocean doesnt have but pacific ocean have some stuff they dont have. These 2 places are the main asian grocery stores my mom goes to. Viet Hoa is a little cheaper than pacific ocean.

They have an excellent selection of vegetables, above and beyond what is in most local asian markets. The one bad thing is, those nasty gloves. Holy crap yuk! If not for those gloves, this would have to be the best asian market in this area.

Overall its good Asian store. But its not as clean as Hmart per say. They have almost everything from fruits and vegetables, to fish, meat and household items. Its almost always fresh and they have new products weekly.

My go-to Asian store. You can find many Asian food & products. I go there either during weekend or at weekday night. They are not crowded most of time which is very nice. Staff there are nice, too.

Neat and clean Vietnamese grocerys store but a lit bit expensive compared to other Asian stores. While the chicken for stew at Say, Hmart is at $2.99, here its sold at $3.98
