Pros: store cleanliness, organized isles compared to other HD locations, experienced and helpful sales assistance staff (if you can find them), friendly tool "know how" tool rental staff, availability of scissor lifters. Cons: not a true contractors location neither a DYI heaven. pricey, not too helpful Customer Service staff (not the sales team), poor outdoor garden plants and furniture variety, slow and inefficient design consulting department, some items are "without a home" - The Home Depot terminology for items the were not incorporated into the stores shelf/space planning, the Outdoor Sheds display is located on prime and much necessary parking space, the (rental) pickup truck is rarely available. Bottom line: Drive to the nearest Lowes for weekend projects and DYI. Contractors: unless small purchases are needed, get to a specialty store or The Home Depot in Van Nuys (much larger stock) although that location is far less organized. B2B advice: refine your PlanOGram, increase floor coverage, revive the 5% discount on HD Credit Card purchases.

Nice, convenient location for me. Typical supply of nearly everything home improvement. On each occasion that I have been to this store, there have been employees in their orange aprons handing out their "side business" contractor business cards to customers asking for assistance. It appears to be a standard practice at this store. Though I havent seen this at other locations in CA, OR, or FL before, colleagues have said this is frequently the case in Southern CA. On one trip to the tool prison, err ... tool pen for an allen wrench, I was asked to wait several minutes while the one sheriff in orange went looking for something outside of the high-security location. Even though the item was sealed in its package and barcoded, I was required to check-out at this one register. Customer service on this trip seemed less than convenient. The parking lot here is quite ample for the business they do, though its often littered with wrappers and garbage from the hot dog cart and fast food joints.

I have purchased a lot of items from this Home Depot. Actually, all of my home fixtures are from this Home Depot. Today, however, a different and bad experience made me write this review. So there was a long line and I waited for my turn. No problem with the long line. Every single person used a credit card. No problem with this either. Everyone was greated by the cashier. Lots of thank yous and hellos. That is great too. Then it came to my turn. No hello. No thank you. I was asked to show my ID too. The cashier was a racist! Later when I called to complain, but guess what? She answered the phone. I guess she was the manager handling a cashier temporarily. What a shame! This is a message to Home Depot that it doesnt matter, me or someone else, I will not buy from stores that promote racism. If this lady is a manager, then definitely you need to get your act together.

I came here as an alternative to shopping on Amazon because the price was about the same after s&h fees. I came here to get a camp axe or hatchet. I am not really adamant on have a perfect blade for camping/ bushcraft but when you unsheath a product made of tool steel and the edge is rolled and mangled from end to end with surface rust forming all around the edge it gives your store a bad impression like oh buy it and if there is something wrong with it jokes on you. Now I have to either sharpen it myself with honing rods, or come back to the store and exchange it. I dont want to do either on my day off. In a nutshell check the product before you buy if possible and if the staff treat you like crap (like they do at a lot of Home Depots) be self sufficient or shop at another hardware store.

Please let me tell you how frustrating your site is! I will be polite and leave it at I tried to search for a metal screen door, or security/storm door, or screen door, or screens, or even just doors, looking for a basic metal screen mesh security door and never even got close to what I was looking for. In other words your search tool was useless and I wasted more time than I would have driving and searching through the aisles. SUCKS!! I truly regret having gone through your online experience.

They had flooring advertised for 99 cents per square foot. I decided I wanted to buy 9 boxes with the units ranging in about 18 square feet. When I was about to purchase the flooring the price was almost tripled. We were concerned about the price so I when to talk to the manager and they told me there was a mistake in the advertisement. Even then they wouldnt sell me each box for 99 cents per square feet. I believe they ate breaking an advertising law. Dont you agree?

Took advantage of the promotion, sign up now, and do not pay till 12 months later. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. Do NOT fall for this, what a screw job. Got a bill for total amount in after 6 mos., dealing with there bank CHASE, is a real chase. I talked to 8 customer service reps and no one can help, no one knows the truth. I paid the account in full rather than deal with MORONS. This went on for 2 months trying to speak to management to take care of there mistake.

i took my shower head hose to the woodland hills store. I stopped by a service consultation in the kitchen department. He was kind enough to search the plumbing department employee for me. Brandon from the plumbing department took a look at the shower head, he quickly unscrewed the old hose, put on a pipe seal tape and screwed the new hose on the head. I totally did not expect this courteous service. Thank you Brandon and home depot.

I was asking about a stapler gun to see if they have them in stock over the phone. A very simple question. A woman answered the phone and starts yelling at me, giving me no time to respond. I ask my simple question, "do you have a stapler gun"? I guess she didnt hear me, and then she told me, "Please wait". She then placed me on hold and left me there like an idiot. After who know how much time, the phone call ends. Very disgraceful

I am used to places that give you hard time when trying to return a product. But here it was smooth. I purchased the wrong locks, and needed to replace them. The returning took 5 minutes. The sales person scanned the product (Which was in the original package), and refunded me. This was smooth and easy. The location itself is huge, and they have everything (Although they should have more man power to help the shoppers).

Went here last night and was very disappointed. Was looking to buy a BBQ. Was in the isle for half an hour and no one offered to help me. I went to front desk and had them page an "associate" to go there and help me. No one ever came and so I left. As I left I kept going by employees who were all just having out with other employees and chatting. Thanks for nothing Home Depot.
