One of the employees here was completely useless. I went there looking for a specific part by General Electric, I showed them the part that I needed so theyd point me to where I could find it. They were like "we dont have anything like that." I literally just stared at them for like 5 seconds and just said "uhmm okay?" I left do to the awkwardness of that encounter. I knew instantly that this person was a newbie and was wrong. Like really in this giant damn store and you dont have this item? I came back like two days later hoping to not run into that same employee and I found an older gentleman employee and he was a total boss and knew exactly where to go. They had A BUNCH of that same item I was looking for...WOW... And when I say THEY or THEM in my review its only one person, I just forgot the gender of that employee. So my point is: teach your employees to say "Im not exactly sure, but let me find out for you" (by asking another employee) or at least not sound so certain when theyre actually unsure and end up wasting time. Other than that this place is cool and I go there every now and then. Props to the old dude with glasses.

DO NOT purchase appliances to be delivered or hire Home Depot to install blinds!! I waited nearly a week before I ever got *one* call from the blind installation person, I was at work and missed the call and never got a call back. I called several times and left a voicemail after that, & once I did finally get to talk to the guy he said Id have to wait another week before he could come out! Similar experience happened with getting my fridge delivered. And dont bother calling them with any questions or concerns because theyll transfer you 500x or disconnect your call without helping you. On the bright side, Ill be doing the installation myself and Ill save quite a bit of money in the process.

I am a contracter and I went in to by 2×4 etc... and took forever to find what I needed and their was a good reason why it was way up high on top rack . When I was struggling to take it down every piece almost was split down the middle so that took a long while ... then had to wait in line for 30 mins !!! Seems like that they would treat their customers / contracters with faster service since that is how the make their money with people that go in and by big quantity of materials , tools , etc.. but know they make money off of poor saps like me with less than par service while our time and money is wasted when we should be on our jobs working !!! This happens about 90% of the time .

Poor customer service. We wanted to purchase a refrigerator and asked to speak to someone for help. The associate that we spoke to pointed out that this is not his department and went to find his co-worker who was at lunch. The associate came back and said they do not keep inventory of their refrigerators that are on the showroom floor in stock. That is the most ridiculous comment to come from an appliance store. We called Lowes down the street and asked if they keep whats on the showroom floor in stock. Amazingly they did! Imagine that! Sorry Home Depot you just lost a purchase of a refrigerator from your store! Sincerely, Unhappy Customer.

Purchased a lawn mower from a very congenial salesperson in the garden shop. Very helpful. Made me aware of new credit card membership discount to save $50. Took advantage of it and took lawn mower home to use. Using it for less than 20 minutes and engine block blew up. Most probably some faulty piston rings. Had gas and oil in it. Called store and told them what happened. They said bring it in and would refund or exchange the product. We exchanged the lawn mower. Transactions were quick and accurate. In spite of what happened I was content with the service I received. Was offered an extended warranty as well. Good service.

The store is ok if you need to grab some items quickly or other places are closed. I would prefer shopping at a local hardware store because the people are usually more friendly. I ordered a bathtub once from Home Depot and they dropped it off and left, but did not bother to open it. As they were driving off, I cut it open and the tub was cracked down the middle. I waved them down in the middle of the street to come back. They came back and I showed them the tub and they said they would replace it. I sometimes wonder to myself if they would have replaced it if I did not catch them driving off.

Worst Home Depot in town you ask for help especially in the plumbing this is on 5 different occasions they call for somebody nobody wants to help you they just call for someone nobody comes waited there for so long they called over and over everybody asked and nobody has any any answers ridiculous the same thing has happened to me 5 times I would really like to know who works in the plumbing department its ridiculous people just dont care I go to Lowes and any other Home Depot no problem just this place probably the Managements fault

This store CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. Ive been standing in Millworks (12/27/16 @ 11:30am) trying to get help for 30 minutes. Ive asked several times for different things and each time someone says let me call someone to help and NOBODY comes to help. I had to load doors myself. I asked a question about door locks again let me call someone and nobody comes.i see people everywhere doing stuff but nobody wants to answer a question about locks -- Ill never shop at this store again.

I ORDERED AND PAID FOR A DISHWASHER JULY 6 2016, . I also paid to have it installed with the necessary parts. It was to be delivered Thursday, Thursday, July 12, 2016. When they did call it was already after 6 pm in the evening and I was done with the day. The delivery would be there in 10- 15 minutes etc. . We asked to reschedule in the morning. The next morning Home Depot told us the NW fresno AREA is in the 3-7 pm area. We are not happy.

Working on bathroom remodel has been slow and unprofessional.Has taken a month to finally receive just the estimate from store contractor. Much too high and too many missed appointments by their contractor. Will still purchase merchandise I have already selected , but will not use Home Depot contractor. Found a more reliable and unreasonably priced contractor.

Their selections are pretty good their prices are a little high, their return policy is great, but their customer service is horrible, no one wants to help anyone and when you do finally get someone to help you, they are not knowledgeable about the products in their area

The customer service at this store has gone down. This last visit waited 10 min to make house keys, after asking for help 3 times. yet even with several employees standing around talking, no one ever came around. Finally left
