My girlfriend and I went there at 4:55pm as we walked in the door we were greeted by an older woman stating "were closing". To which my girlfriend replied, we have a few minutes, its not 5 yet. Three minutes later the same woman called over the intercom asking for keys to lock the door (its still not 5). Not 30 seconds later she repeated the request over the intercom. Another lady was walking up from the back, telling her to calm down she was on her way. Then the old woman said, "no rush, we still have 2 stragglers in here". It still wasnt 5pm. I get wanting to go home after a long day at work, but the customer is who pays your wage. Perhaps she should try treating people better. Ill never go back.

LOVE this place!!! While it can be true that the folks working there can be a tad salty sometimes, and you do have to go often because of stock turnover, and you have to be ready to buy whatever it is thats caught your eye right then, its a great place to find amazing bargains. As far as Im concerned, all of the above just kind of adds to the experience of shopping there! While some stuff can be a bit overpriced, the vast majority of what Ive been looking for hasnt been. Go in prepared, do your research on pricing and be ready to buy right then. And know that some days you wont find anything; other days youll stagger out under the weight of your many happy bargains!

I go in there today to look around. I see an item that I like. I go to pay for it and while I do, I ask them if they have more. The guy in charge says yes. I ask him to bring them out and I will take all. "NO" he replies. I say "but I want to buy them" He tells me I cant because they have to process them. "But I want to buy them NOW!" "Come back later or tomorrow." "But they will dissappear before I come back" I explained. "No they wont" he assured me. I call later that afternoon and sure enough they are processed and gone" What a bunch of jerks!

Rude is usually right. The word "no" is used a lot. Found a childs bedroom set individually priced and I asked if I could split it up just to be sure. N.O. was the answer. So I went home and we decided we would buy the set and give away what we didnt need. Well guess what!? When I went back the next morning it had been split up and sold separately!

Personally, I love the Habitat Store, Ive always had courteous service, w/exceptional deals. on all home, building, & outdoor supplies, tools, furnirure, furnishings. Quality merchandise @ a fraction of retail.& big box stores.

Prices as high, and sometimes higher than Lowes lol.. Ironic. People in charge of prices maybe high? Also rude. They treat customers like prison inmates.. The word "NO" is their oxygen..

Who would have thought. A thrift store for building supplies. The stick rotates frequently, so you have to visit often. Lots of stuff with decent pricing.
