I could not have had a better wedding dress shopping experience than I did at The White Dress. Right from the start we were welcomed and given rings to hang on the dresses I wanted to try, plus I showed them dresses I liked from their website and they pulled those for me as well. With a budget under $1500 there were still plenty of dresses that I loved. I thought my budget would be an issue but it really wasnt at all. I had hoped to stay around $1000 but was happy to pay an extra $200 for my dream dress. We worked with the owner, Kristy, who was extremely helpful. The best part, and what made this experience stand out from my experience at another nearby dress shop, was how genuine Kristy was. She conversed with me like we were friends rather than sounding fake and scripted, and it made the day that much more fun. Also, there was no push for me to commit or buy at all! This was actually the first place I looked, so although I found a dress that I absolutely loved I still wanted to look at at least one other place, and we had an another appointment that day. Kristy encouraged me to go to that appointment and promised to make room for me to come back and try the dress on again later that day if I still wanted it because she knew her shop was nearly 2 hours from my home. I went to my other appointment, was very unsatisfied with the selection and staff, and called Kristy to let her know I was coming back. As promised, we were given another room and I got to "say yes to the dress" while wearing it and drinking champagne with my family and friends. I was even told to take as much time as I wanted in the dress! I never felt rushed or unimportant, and my original appointment went on longer than it was supposed to without me realizing it and without a word from Kristy. And to top it all off, the dress is absolutely perfect! Im so thankful to Kristy and her entire team for making this once in a lifetime experience so incredible!

I grew up in Michigan, but have been living in Chicago for the past 13+ years. Ive visited a number of bridal salons in Chicago over the past couple months, and had found a dress I thought was "the one". Since I had a trip planned to visit my family, we decided to try to find the dress in Michigan. After calling a good number of shops in and around the Metro Detroit area, I found The White Dress, one of two shops in the entire area that carried the particular dress I was looking for. My family lives about an hour away from Brighton, but we decided to make the trip. From the moment I walked in I could tell The White Dress was different. The layout of the shop is so well organized, the staff is absolutely lovely, the dresses are stunning, and the prices are beyond reasonable. The staff quickly realized the style I was looking for, and pulled recommendations that I loved. And I ended up finding a different dress that I liked better than the original one I traveled out to see. However, I was hesitant to pull the trigger as I had another appointment later that afternoon to see another dress I had a lot of heart for. After the second appointment, I was convinced that the dress I had found at The White Dress was the one, but it was already after 3pm and the shop closes at 5pm (and I was about 45 minutes away). We called and Kristy the owner was so accommodating and let us come back in and try the dress on one more time. When we arrived, they had us all set-up again. I tried on the dress and purchased it right then and there! I cannot write enough great things about Kristy and her staff. For any bride looking for a place that makes you feel at home, listens to what youre looking for, and puts absolutely no pressure on you to make the purchase, The White Dress is for you. My family and I still cant stop talking about what a great experience it was, and Im thrilled to be working with them!

The White Dress is the experience I think every bride deserves. I went in with an open mind, not quite sure I was ready to purchase my dress as I still have quite some time before our wedding date; however, with the lovely staff and the environment I was immediately in love with their selection and my attitude completely changed the moment I was escorted to my private fitting room. The boutique is modern and stylish with flair that truly sets it apart from the average bridal shop. Let me repeat, this is not your average bridal shop - this is the place every bride deserves to go to be treated as special as she really is. My specialist was Meagan- she was everything I had hoped for knowledgeable, friendly, FUN, and best of all she LISTENED intently to all of my specifications when I described what I had imagined for myself. She allowed me ample time to peruse their selection to pick my choices- But it was her choice that turned out to be the one. I was immediately smitten with it when I saw myself in the mirror. How is it possible someone I just met, could know my style so well? I could not be happier with the treatment I received at The White Dress, not just for myself, but my mother who came with me. They know this is your special day and they treat your entire bridal entourage with respect and make it a fantastic event when you find your white dress. I have been raving about my experience to my friends, while still trying to keep it secret I found my dress on my first visit. This is THE ONLY place I will recommend when other brides ask where to go for their dress. I cant thank the staff at The White Dress enough for my fabulous experience. I am SO excited to see my dress when it comes in, my fittings, and to see the final product - to relive that wonderful moment that made me feel so beautiful and confident all over again. Thank you The White Dress - You guys are THE BEST!

I cannot say enough great things about Kristy and her staff at The White Dress. I went to a few other bridal boutiques that were a bit closer to my home before I made my way to TWD, and started becoming very frustrated and discouraged by these other stores - cramped stores, pushy staff members, high prices, etc. I had read the great reviews about TWD, so I figured I would give it a chance even though it was a bit far for me and how glad I am that I did! Their dresses are all out (not in bags) so you can actually see them, they let you (and your party) go through all of the dresses and pick what ones youd like to try on (I ran into some boutiques that wouldnt let you?!), and then you get a private room for just you and your group. It was AMAZING! We had such a great time that we werent paying attention to the time and ran over our appointment time by about 20 minutes - and the staff (we were working with Alex who was amazing) was not concerned or trying to push us out for even a minute. I did leave my first appointment without buying a dress - but at no fault of TWD - I just couldnt make up my mind! I did end up finding a dress I really liked at another store but did not have a great experience there and knew I wanted to purchase my dress through TWD. I called TWD to see if they happened to have the dress I was interested and thankfully they did! I spoke with their receptionist Marissa who was amazing and helped me order the dress. I then came in and worked with Kristy, the owner, directly to be measured and order the dress. I would highly, highly recommend The White Dress to anyone looking for a great selection of dresses at great prices at a super friendly boutique!
