So Im tryihg to check out at Home Depot today with a large visibly printed price on the item but the cashier couldnt enter it as it had no bar code. She called the Supervisor over. Wouldnt you think there would be an override where you could use a dummy misc barcode and enter the price? Not in this reality. The cashier was instructed to keep entering size dimensions until it matched their price. She had to resort to making decimal changes, e.g. 4.8 in x 12 feet, in many attempts to reach their printed price on the item. She wasnt about to undersell it for a $1 less as that was the closest she could get. But once it was over 45¢ more than the price shown I said Id take it not wanting to give them one more minute of my time since they couldnt resolve their problem. I had to tell people behind me to change lanes and not wait. Meanwhile, they opened a new check out line since they could not override their system. It made me even more resolute on my conviction not to surrender myself to an "easier" and "better" life though technology, specifically a smart phone. Its only good when it works. When humans cant override technology its time to wonder when the Apocalypse begins when technology bores of our servitude. Poor Customer Service!

This page came up when I searched for the nearest Home Depot to my house. I noticed the overwhelmingly negative reviews and didnt give it much thought - that is, until I was at the actual store. Lupe in the Paint Department should not be an employee. I was in line waiting for a gallon of paint for Im not sure how long. She never once acknowledged me or even said "Ill be right with you." Not even a glance. A customer behind me in line got so fed up he said "I dont have time for this ____" and left. Lupe is beyond a bad employee. She goes out of her way to be rude, unpleasant and unhelpful. The gentleman in line behind me (one who didnt leave) asked Lupe after I left if he would match a paint color to a chip hed brought in. Her response? "OH MY GOOOOOD!" and she rolled her eyes. I will be calling corporate on Lupe who works in the paint section of the Home Depot at this location. Finally another employee was called over named Chris and he helped me get the gallon of paint I needed. Youd think he should be awarded a medal of honor.

Scott and Jessica in the paint department are ridiculously accommodating to the changes I needed to a Glidden color. My second time choosing paint for an entire room, and it had been a few years since I had previously chosen colors. Jessica mixed the paint to swatch perfection on the first try, and when I applied the color to the walls, I absolutely hated it. I took back the paint to see if there was anything that could be done to mix to a more appealing color. Both Jessica and Scott were dedicated to matching the new color I had requested (or at least closer to that color) and created a color I was even more pleased with than any of the swatches in the store! They even had helpful tips like mixing both cans incase of any discrepancy in color or texture, sanding out blotches with the right grade of sand paper, and walking my order to the register to ensure no confusion upon checkout. You guys rock. Thanks again!

Horrible service. Least helpful staff. got a call to pick up an oder. (when asked to check the item the response was that they do not have time to check it out). Asked me to come to store. I was asked to stand at costumer desk for 20 minutes until I myself looked for the store manager, Manny. He personally looked into it but since could not find the item he told me that he would call me in an hour and have it delivered to the house free of charge. 24 hours later, Im still waiting for the call. On calling the store talked to the staff you looked into this the day before (Daniella). She told me that she left yesterday shortly after I left and she is not aware of what Manny did. As you expect Manny is not there today. After putting me on hold couple of time (about 20-30 minutes) eventually Daniella was told by the manager that they need to look into it again. (Are you kiddin me!). I have asked for the refund.

Had the best sales experience Ive ever had at a Home Depot store (or any retail store for that matter). A sales associate named Penny was not only extremely helpful to us, but she had a great sense of humor which only added to our shopping experience. She helped us pick out a great area rug (she works back in that area) that was even below our allotted budget. She even walked us out. A great attitude overall and someone I would go back to see for future needs there. Her manager was great as well (cant remember his name). I would highly recommend Penny and this Home Depot location.

My husband and I had to exchange a light fixture. We walked right up the customer service desk, no waiting, but we forgot the receipt. We had the HD credit card, and the charge was quickly refunded to the card by Zach, a most friendly and helpful employee. Next, we went to search for the fixture we wanted, but the only one we wanted was the display model. Along comes Dan, super helpful and accommodating. He switched out the display model for another one, gave us the display, and we went home happy. Great service.

Ive only had the very best experiences with every employee at The Plant Home Depot store and, contrary to one reviewers experience, everyone that Ive dealt with has really cared about their job, known about products & helping customers, your experience shopping there, and has spoken Perfect English. The Plant Home Depot Mgmt. seems to have a knack 4 picking great, conscientious employees who know their stuff as well as keeping their employees happy. Thanks!
